The main entrance of the outer city is Yongding Gate, which consists of watchtower, urn and tower. Yongdingmen archway is a single-eaves, hilltop-resting building with an arched doorway. Eighty-one bronze nails are nailed to each of the two heavy wooden doors, which are staggered and orderly, symbolizing the majesty of the son of heaven and the royal family.

Yongdingmen Gate Tower was built in March of the 32nd year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1553), and an urn was added in January of the 43rd year of Jiajing (1564). In the thirty-second year of Qing Qianlong (1767), the tower was transformed from the original one-eaves-resting peak to a three-eaves-resting peak, two-story attic-style building. 1957 Demolition due to urban construction in Beijing. The central axis of the outer city is Qianmen Commercial Street. Qianmen Commercial Street, as an important picture to show the style of old Beijing, highlights the commercial style of Beijing in Qing Dynasty, with many shops and different styles. The pavilions on both sides of the street have cornice corners, and the building regulations are low. Most of them are buildings in Xiao Mu, Qiao Hard Mountain, with blue tiles on the roof, and the color is mainly gray and black. In front of the antique market is Zheng 'an Palace Hotel. On the east side is the Art Exchange Center of China Artists Association, which has collected countless art treasures and exhibited the works of contemporary masters of painting and calligraphy all the year round. On the west side is the Old Beijing Snack Street, which deals in more than 60 kinds of pasta from local snacks, especially from all over the country. In addition, there are more than 30 kinds of exquisite cold dishes, such as Daoxiao Noodles in Shanxi, Dandan Noodles in Sichuan and Zhajiang noodles in Beijing.

On the north central axis of Qianmen Street, there are five archways. The five archways in the first city are modeled after the five archways in the front door of old Beijing. The archway with five rooms, six columns and five floors is the most standardized archway in old Beijing. The upper ends of the six vermilion columns are white marble columns, which are red and white, which are very eye-catching. On the front of the memorial archway, there are four gold-plated characters "Taiping country, Taipingmin" and the back is "Yunxiu". "Xiu Xiu" means that you can capture and enjoy beautiful scenery. It tells tourists that when you walk through this arch, you will enter a beautiful realm.

Zheng 'an Palace Hotel is located in Zhengyangmen, Beijing, where the north-south axis of the first city meets the "Sunshine Corridor". There is a corridor between the main building of Zheng 'an Palace and the Arrow Tower, which is located on the third floor. Corridor railings are all white marble, with dragon and phoenix stigma.

Taking the commercial street as the boundary, the outer city is divided into east and west areas. The eastern part is Yuanming Scenic Area, which imitates the representative landscapes of Kyushu Qingyan, Wanfang Anhe, Pinghu Qiuyue, Shangxiatianguang, Fuhai, Yuanyingguan and Dashuifa in the proportion of 1: 1. Yuanmingyuan, an unparalleled imperial garden in Qing Dynasty, has really become a dream in China after being destroyed by Eight-Nation Alliance. The Royal Garden in the First City is based on the garden design concept of Yuanmingyuan, with pavilions, nine cloisters, carved beams and painted buildings, which combines the classical gardening art of China North and South. Although it is artificial, like nature, it reproduces the grand scale of the palace, beautiful vegetation, rippling blue waves and fragrant lotus flowers.

The west area is a residential area in Kyoto. There are old Beijing quadrangles, Qin Wang Mi (Chang 'an Palace), Wang Jun Mi, Yingzhou, Hehe Teahouse, Da 'an Palace (Da 'an Palace), Yong 'an Palace and other buildings. The first city quadrangle villa is designed and built according to the traditional quadrangle pattern and form of old Beijing. The courtyard is full of stones, running water and fragrant flowers and plants, which are quiet and elegant. Wang Fu also left a deep impression on the history of Beijing. With the change of dynasties, the remains of the former dynasties are often submerged by history, so what modern people call Wang Fu in Beijing refers to Wang Fu in the Qing Dynasty. The imitation of Prince Mi, the first city, basically kept the original appearance of Wang Fu in Qing Dynasty in appearance and regulation. This quadrangle with three entrances and three spans consists of six quadrangles and eighteen buildings, so it is also called "Eighteen Wang Fu".

There is a pair of bronze auxiliary heads with animal face rings on the door of the imitation county palace in the first city. There are four doornails above the door, and a large gold-plated plaque with the word "County Palace" is hung above it. There are no couplets on both sides of the door, but the tiles are clustered patterns, which together with the word "ten thousand" on the rafters under the eaves constitute "endless life"

There is a winding corridor at the waterway pier and a pentagonal pavilion in the middle of the water.

The first city inherits the classical architectural style of China and reproduces many legendary buildings in history by modern technical means.

The Da 'an Palace in the west of Waicheng, also known as the Lotus Palace Water Palace, was designed on the basis of the Water Palace in the Song Dynasty. The whole building is completely built on water, which is the perfect combination of the wisdom of ancient laborers and modern architectural technology in China. The whole building is surrounded by a lotus pond, where more than 20 kinds of precious lotus flowers, such as spotted peach and Xuanwu red lotus, are planted, competing to bloom fragrant lotus flowers in summer.

Guild hall was once one of the important social and architectural forms in old Beijing. Guildhall building is one of the manifestations of architectural art in China. Compared with the traditional inns and post stations, the hall building is closer to the earliest prototype of modern hotels and hotels in China. Yong 'an Palace, located in the west of the first city, is a special building that imitates and draws lessons from the most typical guild hall form in old Beijing. It is divided into three floors, the first and second floors are halls, conference rooms, restaurants, museum rooms, guest rooms and so on. The third floor is the quadrangle guest room area and the roof garden, so it is also called the air quadrangle.

Dianji, on the west side of the central axis, is a temple rebuilt on the original site. Dianji was founded in the early Tang Dynasty with a history of 1300 years. According to records, Emperor Taizong visited this place personally, and the army turned the corner and won a great victory. Therefore, this place was named Anping and Daanji was built. From the early Tang Dynasty to the Republic of China, the incense of Da 'anji continued, and the temples were destroyed by aging during the Republic of China. At present, there is a thirteen-hall in Dianji * *, which contains the essence of various schools of Buddhism and is dedicated to 133 Buddha statues. It has the largest indoor Buddhist temple in Asia and thousands of square meters of large painted murals.
