How to enter Europe without a visa?

Europe is a fascinating tourist destination, and its human landscape and natural scenery are fascinating. However, due to some reasons, European countries have been stricter in visa application for China passport holders, and the requirements for applicants are also higher, which makes it hard to get a visa for European countries. Because of work, I often travel to and from Asia and Africa, and sometimes I have to transfer in European cities because of flights; If you also need to transfer from Europe for various reasons, here I will tell you how to use the transfer time for visa-free travel and get a glimpse of the European continent with my personal experience and my colleagues.

Starting from China and connecting to Africa or America via Europe, the airlines with dense flights and wide urban coverage mainly include Britain, France, Lufthansa, Switzerland, Turkey and KLM. If you choose British Airways, you will obviously feel the British Empire's discrimination against China passport holders. If you transfer from London, you have to apply for a transit visa in advance even if you don't leave the airport. Only a few least developed countries in the world enjoy the same treatment as us. Therefore, if you choose British Airways, visa-free transit is impossible, let alone visa-free sightseeing.

Air France covers a wide range of destinations, especially Africa, but France seems to be too nervous about illegal immigrants. In the past two years, transit passengers have been mistaken for illegal immigrants, locked in dark rooms and humiliated. I have long lost interest in French public transport. I guess why the above events happened. I guess it may be because Charles de Gaulle Airport is too big. When transferring from one boarding gate to another, China people may go to the customs by mistake, and the poor language ability of China people leads to the situation. Of course, this is just my guess. I haven't experienced it personally, and I don't want to experience it.

If you take a KLM plane to transfer in Amsterdam, the Dutch government stipulates that you can stay at the airport for 72 hours without a visa. Schiphol Airport is famous for its exquisite design and manufacturing and warm service. There are also hotels that transfer passengers at the airport. You can enjoy the hotels, duty-free shops, watching, flying and buying at the airport. It is even said that the Dutch even set up the lsquo casino and moved it to the airport, so that you can kill time in boredom. But you can never go out and see the water ghosts and tulips in Amsterdam. You can only see the depressions in the Netherlands through the window of the airport.

According to our experience, only Lufthansa, Swissair and Turkish Airlines can take advantage of the opportunity to enter the European continent. Let me tell you some tips, related processes and scenic spots around the airport.

(1) Take Lufthansa as an example.

Germany is one of the Schengen visa countries. If you take Lufthansa to transfer in Frankfurt, you may catch a glimpse of this historic city without a Schengen visa. Frankfurt is located in the center of the European continent and is one of the busiest airports in Europe. At noon, the flight density is basically one plane taking off and landing every minute. However, Frankfurt airport is crowded with people and duty-free shops are expensive, so it is really difficult for people to calm down and spend that difficult connecting time. Lufthansa's flight from Beijing arrives in Frankfurt at 2 pm local time, while most flights from Frankfurt to the African continent take off in the morning. There is a long waiting process here. When I transferred from Frankfurt to Cairo, the plane arrived in Frankfurt at 2 pm, and I watched the plane from the same terminal to Cairo slowly leave the tarmac. I was told in Beijing that the flight connection was not good, and I had to stay at the airport for almost 24 hours, so I couldn't rest at the airport, but I had to choose this flight for work reasons. In the almost crazy waiting, I tried to find the German Immigration Bureau next to the customs entrance, saying that my transit time was almost a whole day, and there were no hotel facilities at the airport, hoping to find a hotel to rest. After reviewing my passport, destination visa and air ticket and confirming that there are no other flights to Cairo today, German immigration officials said that they could let me enter the country by Lufthansa as a guarantee and help to book a hotel. The next thing went well. The lady on duty at the information desk of Lufthansa Airport contacted the Hilton Hotel outside the airport and wrote a note to the Immigration Bureau in German. With this note, I paid an unknown fee of 20 Deutsche marks according to the requirements of the immigration official. The official gave me a note printed in German and told me to go through the airport customs with this note the next day. People who get this special entry permit do not need to enter Germany from the customs, but directly enter Germany from the door on the other side of the immigration office. The traffic at Frankfurt Airport is very developed. The underground passage of the airport leads to the subway and railway station. Two modes of transportation * * * use the same platform. The travel agency at the airport has Frankfurt cards for sale to tourists. Within one day, you can take any means of transportation in downtown Frankfurt (including the airport leading to the city) without limit, and visit various tourist attractions with discounts. Worth buying. You can take a tram in Frankfurt and enjoy the colorful and interesting fairy-tale spire buildings and the soothing and beautiful Rhine River. Frankfurt is the largest industrial and commercial city in Germany, and you can see its ancient and modern style. If you like classic European cities, you can take the train from Frankfurt's Central Railway Station to Heidelberg, which is known as the university town. There are also trains and buses at Frankfurt Airport. It takes about 1 half an hour to get to Heidelberg, with frequent flights. It is really a rare enjoyment to take the comfortable and luxurious ice express in Germany and enjoy the beautiful scenery of green space along the way. Heidelberg has the oldest university in Germany-Heidelberg University; There are many historical sites here for tourists to visit. A small river passes through the quiet ancient city, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful, which makes tourists linger. Don't forget to get back to Frankfurt airport in time.

(2) Take Swissair

Switzerland is not a Schengen country and needs a separate visa to enter Switzerland. If you take Swissair, your connecting flight will take a long time. For example, if you need to stay at the airport (usually Zurich airport) for more than 12 hours, Swissair can ensure that you leave the airport to have a rest. Relevant procedures can be handled before departure in Beijing, such as hotel reservation. Unlike Lufthansa, passengers can get relevant information before leaving Beijing. There are often trains from Zurich airport to the central railway station in the city center. It is suggested to take the train directly from Zurich Railway Station to Lucerne. Lucerne is the most beautiful city in Switzerland. There is a bus from Zurich to Lucerne almost every hour, and it takes about an hour to drive. Lake Lucerne is just outside the railway station. The lake is sparkling, and there is no edge in sight, as if it is connected with the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The scenic spots worth visiting in Lucerne include the water tower flower bridge built in14th century on the left side of the railway station. The bridge diagonally crosses a tributary of Lake Lucerne. There is a water tower on the bridge, and pink flowers are blooming on both sides of the wooden bridge. The small bridge is simple and elegant, with swans swimming under it and snow-capped mountains not far away. Very beautiful. On the other side of the railway station, there is a Gothic church with two minarets, which are reflected in the water and have a special taste. Walking back a few hundred meters from the church along the street, there is a famous dying lion sculpture on the stone wall of the park, which was carved to commemorate hundreds of Swiss soldiers who died in the French Revolution. The lion on the stone wall is beautifully painted and lifelike. Although it is dying, tourists can still feel its past glory in their brow. Another attraction is the Swiss army knives sold in several shops near the park. Authentic Swiss army knife is Voctorinox brand, the smallest and most exquisite is probably the size of index finger, which is very convenient to carry around every day. The price of each is 13SFr. When purchasing, customers can engrave their names on the spot for free, which is convenient for them to remember and give gifts to relatives and friends. It is really the best souvenir not to be missed. Lucerne is a small city, which can be visited in two or three hours. You can take a leisurely bus back to Zurich and have a good rest for one night. The nightlife in Zurich is mainly concentrated on the street opposite the railway station and across the lake, with dense restaurants and bars for guests to entertain. The next morning, you can easily take a walk around the railway station and walk on the station avenue by the lake Zurich. The shopping malls here are concentrated with world-famous brands.

(3) Take a Turkish Airlines flight.

Turkish Airlines offers special discounts for passengers with connecting flights over eight hours, providing free breakfast and hotel and airport transfers. However, Turkish Airlines is not responsible for the entry procedures of passengers. According to the agreement between the Chinese and Turkish governments, Turkey granted visa-free treatment to Turkish passport holders. The visa-free travel mentioned in this article is limited to those who go abroad on business. However, individual passport holders can also enjoy the relevant treatment of Turkish Airlines on the premise of applying for a transit visa. Turkey's transit visa is easy to handle, as long as you have a destination visa, a confirmed ticket and relevant certificates. The plane from Shanghai to Istanbul via Beijing arrives at 5: 00 am local time, and most flights to Africa take off after 10 in the evening, which gives us enough time to see Istanbul. Istanbul is divided into two parts by the Sprus Strait, and its main attractions are concentrated in the European part. A one-day tour can be a blue tour of Istanbul. The most famous ancient buildings in Istanbul are the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, which are located on both sides of Sultan Ahmed Square in the city center. From here, you can overlook the Bosphorus and the Bosphorus Bridge which connects Asia and Europe across the Strait. The Blue Mosque is the most beautiful mosque in Istanbul, and its interior is decorated with blue and white tiles, hence its name. Hagia Sophia, built in 330 AD in the era of Constantine the Great, is a treasure of ancient architecture. Tickets to visit Hagia Sophia are about $5, and the Blue Mosque is free. Visitors can make voluntary donations. The last thing Istanbul can't miss is a boat trip to the Bosphorus. It takes a quarter of an hour to walk from Hagia Sophia along the light rail to the light rail terminal by the sea. From the city center to the mouth of the Black Sea, several cruise ships visit the Bosphorus every day. There are also some small cruise ships that run irregularly. Take a boat trip to the Bosphorus Strait and float on the deep blue sea. The Bosphorus has opened a beautiful picture for you, which you will never forget. Istanbul's nightlife is also fascinating. You can find a restaurant and enjoy the traditional Turkish belly dance while tasting Turkish food.
