Is it reliable to cancel a hotel reservation for some reason?

It is recommended to read the insurance clauses before buying, so as to clarify which accidents can be cancelled and whether they are suitable for you.

Please refer to the following insurance clauses for details:

1. The designated check-in person died due to an accident, was seriously injured or suffered from sudden illness, and was diagnosed by a doctor in a local hospital as requiring hospitalization or unsuitable for continuing the original trip;

2. The spouse, parents, children or accompanying traveling companion of the designated check-in person died of accidental injury, was seriously injured or suffered from sudden illness, and was diagnosed by a doctor in a local hospital as requiring hospitalization or unsuitable for continuing the original trip;

3. Designated residents are isolated according to law because they are suspected or diagnosed to be infected with infectious diseases and cannot continue their original itinerary;

4. The designated check-in person or his spouse was diagnosed as pregnant for the first time after booking the hotel;

5. The designated check-in person or his spouse is not suitable to continue the original trip due to pregnancy complications, and is diagnosed by the local hospital doctor;

6. The designated crew member is hijacked or kidnapped;

7. Within 7 days before the first day of hotel check-in, the designated person suffered serious losses due to fire, explosion, natural disasters, indoor pipeline rupture or theft, robbery, etc., and could not continue the original itinerary;

8. The designated check-in person cannot continue the original itinerary due to the change of official itinerary;

9. The designated check-in person cannot continue the original itinerary due to the change of school curriculum or examination arrangement;

10. The designated check-in person was refused and could not continue the original itinerary;

1 1. On the first day of hotel check-in, the designated check-in person can't check in 6 hours before the latest check-out time on the first day of hotel check-in due to the scheduled flight delay or cancellation;

12. On the way to the hotel on a business trip, the designated person had to accept the rescue of the rescue company in the case of accidental breakdown of the vehicle, and could not stay in the reserved hotel as scheduled;

13. Within 7 days before the first day of hotel check-in, the designated check-in cannot continue the original itinerary or go through the check-in formalities due to the loss of valid identity documents;

14. The national examination scheduled to be held at the hotel location on the first day of staying in the hotel and three days after the hotel reservation was postponed;

15. Within 7 days before the first day of hotel check-in, the employees of public transport who designated the passengers to go to the hotel suddenly went on strike and rioted, so the original trip could not be continued;

16. Within 7 days before the first day of hotel check-in, sudden riots, civil strife or epidemic occurred at the designated departure place or the location of the hotel, and the original itinerary could not be continued;

17. Within 7 days before the first day of the hotel's stay, the National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have issued relevant warnings on the location of the hotel, and it is impossible to continue the original itinerary;

18. Within 7 days before the first day of hotel check-in, an earthquake of magnitude 5 or above occurred at the designated check-in place or the hotel location, and the original trip could not be continued;

19. within 7 days before the first day of hotel check-in, the meteorological department at the designated check-in place or the location of the hotel issued a natural disaster warning signal, and the original trip could not be continued;

20. A terrorist attack occurs at the hotel, and the following conditions are met:

(1) The place where the terrorist attack occurred is within150km of the hotel where the designated personnel stayed;

(2) The terrorist attack occurred within 30 days before the departure date of the designated personnel;

(3) The local government has issued a warning of such terrorist attacks. Before the entry into force of this clause, the designated guest must be physically fit for travel, and there is no situation that may directly or indirectly lead the guest to stay in the hotel on schedule.

If you buy this kind of insurance, the insurance company will not pay if the accident/situation is not listed in the terms.
