How many days is it appropriate to go to Toyako? How to arrange it?

Toyako is located between Sapporo, Muroran and Hakodate, depending on your schedule. The surrounding area of Toya Lake is usually dominated by sightseeing and hot spring bathing, so it is not necessary to stay for a long time. You can choose half a day or 1 day according to your personal preference, and you don't need to stay. If you have a special preference for this place, you can stay for one night and slowly experience the scenery of the lake area.

1 day tour route

In the morning, you can take JR to Dongyehu Station, transfer to Dongyehu Hot Spring Town by bus, and you can choose to visit Zhushan Geopark and Bear Ranch. After returning to Wenquan Town in the afternoon, you can visit Yuepu area carefully by car or bike. If you have enough time, you can take an alternative tour from the Windsor Hotel and the Cerro Observatory (both overlooking the lake, and the visual effects are basically the same). Go back to Toyako Hot Spring Town for a hot spring bath in the evening, return to Sapporo, or stay in Hot Spring Town.
