What's interesting about Hsinchu in Taiwan Province Province?

My memory of Taiwan Province Province is more about the idol dramas I watched as a child. At that time, I was looking forward to the places where the hero and heroine had been. Maybe from then on, the seeds of tourism were planted in my heart. So this trip to Taiwan Province Province is imperative, but time is limited, so I chose a place, Hsinchu, Taiwan Province Province. Watch how I play!

Hsinchu Chenghuangmiao Night Market

It was almost evening at that time, and we went directly to the famous Chenghuangmiao night market nearby. The food here is not disappointing! Very good.

Tonight, we will taste Explosicum meatball soup and Shensi soup, and there are many delicious things to take out in the street. Delicious food is a cinch.

Bishop of the Sacred Heart of Our Lady

Notre Dame de Paris is located at the intersection of Zhongzheng Road and Beidao Road in Hsinchu, also known as Peking University Cathedral or Peking University Cathedral.

I know nothing about Catholic culture, but I think the church is solemn, and I feel solemn and sacred in it.

Many idol dramas in Taiwan Province Province have seen such scenes. Because many people in Taiwan Province Province still believe in Jesus, most of them will choose to get married in church before the Lord. I didn't know this when I was young, so I felt very romantic. I was stupid enough to think that I would get married like this in the future.

Town God's Temple

Actually, I came last night, but I didn't enjoy the beautiful scenery at that time, and I wasn't very familiar with it, so I came again during the day.

The side door is only opened during the Mid-Autumn Festival, but it is usually closed.

From the Catholic Church to the Chenghuang Temple, there is a strong sense of contrast. Taoism always gives people a secular and approachable feeling, with a little casual and lazy.

After coming out of the Chenghuang Temple, I couldn't resist the temptation of delicious food and visited the snack street again.

Xinzhu porridge hall

Hsinchu State Department was founded in 1925 (the 14th year of Taisho). It is not only a historical relic, but also the seat of the present Hsinchu municipal government. The rigorous axisymmetric design conforms to the traditional aesthetics of China people.

This old house has a high roof, big windows and good lighting. Against the white wall, the hall is clean and bright.

It's like a picture in an old movie.

Dongchengmen

The gate of Dongcheng is next to the moat, and the river is clear. Many citizens like the cool scenery and feed waterfowl and fish by the river.

Dongchengmen is the only old city gate preserved in Hsinchu at present. In addition to the towers, there are also ruins of city walls.

About accommodation

Larger temples in Taiwan Province Province usually have halls for pilgrims, many of which are open to ordinary people rather than believers. Prices are often much cheaper than hotels.

We live in the pilgrim hall of Changhe Palace in Mazu Tempel. We thought the conditions of the guild hall would be worse, but we didn't expect it to be super luxurious!
