Recently, the preliminary plan of the detailed planning for the construction of Yaoxihe Greenway Network in the South Zhejiang Science and Technology City Section (Science and Technology Water Street) was compiled by the Landscape Architecture Design and Research Institute of China Academy of Fine Arts.

This special plan makes rational use of the superior hydrogeological and water town landscape resources in the area of South Zhejiang Science and Technology City from the aspects of planning conception, construction design and landscape design, and plans the "Science and Technology Water Street" project with the help of the construction of Yaoxi River Greenway Network, so as to create a characteristic street block integrating urban parks, cultural entertainment, leisure shopping and other functions, and form a unique landscape belt along the river with Caohe River and Huangshishan Houhe River, providing leisure communication for high-end talents.

The urban area that continues the context of human history

integrates cultural leisure, artistic creation, parent-child entertainment, science and technology exhibition, special catering and boutique homestay, and is shaped by the collision of tradition and modernity and the blending of humanities and science and technology entertainment.

The planning area

is located in the area north of Ouhai Avenue and east of Longyong Road on both sides of Yaoxi River, with a length of about 3.1 kilometers and a total land area of about 47.5 hectares (including Yaoxi River waters).

Master Plan

The traditional architectural culture in the south of the Yangtze River and the modern leisure and holiday culture are natural, and the humanistic atmosphere of the integration of ancient and modern makes the Science and Technology Water Street add a sense of fashion exclusive to "modern people" in addition to "the water of Yaoxi, the culture of Ouyue and the traditional houses", enjoying the tranquility and comfort of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River and the carefree and exciting urban entertainment.
