Generator’s first hotel project in Spain is officially open for business. After the opening of the new hotel in Barcelona, ??the number of urban design style hotels of the brand in Europe will reach 8, and the company intends to further significantly increase the number of hotels. As the fastest growing hotel brand in Europe, Generator currently has 8 design hotels located in 6 countries with nearly 5,200 beds. These hotels attract guests from more than 75 countries. Since the opening of the group's first hotel in Spain (Barcelona) and its second hotel in Berlin in the spring of 2013, the award-winning group's portfolio of urban design hotels has grown to eight hotels. Generator's other existing boutique-style hotels are located in eastern Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Hamburg, London and Venice.

Generator’s new flagship project, the 154-room Hotel Barcelona, ??is Generator’s only hotel and guest house project. The 40 hotel rooms located on the high floors not only provide guests with extremely luxurious and exclusive private spaces, but also allow guests to overlook the Mediterranean Sea and the magnificent city skyline from Sagrada Familia.

The Barcelona store is located in the fashionable Gràcia district. While adhering to the concept of a boutique-style hotel, the hotel follows Generator's consistent trend of following the trend. Generator Barcelona can accommodate up to 726 guests in different room types, all of which are double rooms. Guests can choose from private twin rooms, dormitory rooms, or ladies-only rooms.

Under the design of chief designer (one of the partners of TheDesign Agency in Toronto) Anwar Mekhayech, the 70,000-square-foot hotel shines Hui. Mekhayech, who has previously worked with luxury clients such as Soho House and Shangri-La, hired local architects to ensure the building's interiors drew inspiration from their surroundings and reflected the city's unique culture . In line with its consistent support of the art scene, Generator also customized multiple artworks from emerging artists through campaigns before opening.
