Lianhua bridge, which spans Lianhua Bay, is a famous reinforced concrete stone slab bridge in Pingdu. The bridge is white and crystal clear. However, due to the long construction time, the bridge body will inevitably have dust, but this will not affect the overall aesthetic feeling of the bridge.

Total length of bridge116.3m, width17m. There is no steep slope on the bridge deck to facilitate the passage of vehicles. The bridge is divided into lanes and sidewalks. The road width is 14m, which can accommodate four cars passing side by side. The carriageway at the height of the sidewalk is about 20 cm, so as to achieve "the road is facing the sky and each goes its own way", which reduces the occurrence of traffic accidents and adds some structural beauty to the bridge deck.

At the same time, in order to ensure the safety of pedestrians, 45 white rectangular guardrails with a height of about 1 m are built on both sides of the sidewalk, which are carved with budding lotus flowers with clear lines and lifelike flowers. Let pedestrians add a little interest in the process of walking.

There are four stone monuments on the east and west sides of the bridge. On the front of the stone tablet, there are three magnificent Chinese characters "lianhua bridge". On the back of two stone tablets, there are inscriptions describing lianhua bridge, while on the other stone tablets, there are lotus flowers with different shapes and sizes similar to the original ones.

There are 9 big arches under the lianhua bridge, and each big arch is connected with 6 small arches. Adding an arch to the arch not only reduces the weight of the bridge, but also saves materials. This structure makes us have to praise the originality of the bridge designer Liu Shoufu and the extraordinary skills of the construction director Zhao Qingge. Whenever night falls and the lights are on, lianhua bridge is brightly lit and becomes a bright pearl in Pingdu night.

Lianhua Bridge is adjacent to the municipal government in the east and the Great Hall of the People in the west, which is the transportation hub of Pingdu. It has a beautiful shape and a firm structure, which fully embodies the wisdom and hard work of Pingdu people. Lianhua bridge was praised by Pingdu people from generation to generation, and it also benefited Pingdu people from generation to generation.
