How does the market supervision bureau handle disputes between hotel operators and consumers?

Legal analysis: When there is a dispute between hotel operators and consumers, the responsibility of the market supervision bureau is to guide China Consumers Association to carry out consumer rights protection work. Consumers should complain to the Consumers Association, the Industrial and Commercial Bureau and the Quality Supervision Bureau. Under normal circumstances, when consumers think that their legitimate rights and interests are damaged, it is the most direct and simple way to negotiate with operators. When negotiation fails, they usually complain to the consumer association or the relevant administrative department; Finally, they will choose arbitration or litigation.

Legal basis: Article 39 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests. Disputes between consumers and business operators on consumers' rights and interests can be resolved through the following channels:

(a) negotiated settlement with the operator;

(2) Requesting consumers' associations or other mediation organizations established according to law to mediate;

(three) to complain to the relevant administrative departments;

(four) according to the arbitration agreement reached with the operator, submit it to an arbitration institution for arbitration;

(5) bring a lawsuit to the people's court.
