Where is the Aiyi River in Yinchuan?

Yihe River is located in Hexi Irrigation District in the middle of Ningxia. It starts from Yongjia Watergate of Tanglai Canal in the south and flows into the Yellow River in Shizuishan City in the north, with a total length of 158.5 km. It spans six counties and cities, connects six retaining dams and two flood detention areas, leads to ten drainage ditches, and connects more than a dozen lakes such as West Lake, Beita Lake, Huayan Lake and Yuehai in Yinchuan section. It is a model project of river and lake wetland ecological management. From the natural characteristics, the lake can be regarded as a natural widening section of the Aiyi River, and the Aiyi River can be regarded as an extension of the lake. Water continuity between rivers and lakes has always been maintained, forming a lake wetland ecosystem with a water area of 60,000 mu, a wetland area of more than 200,000 mu and a water storage capacity of 90 million cubic meters.
