Differences in English pronunciation between horses and houses

These two pronunciations are different from vowel pronunciation, consonant pronunciation and stress position in English.

Pronunciation of vowels: "Ma" is usually translated into "Ma" in English, and the pronunciation of "O" is short vowel [? ], the pronunciation of the whole word is relatively compact. "house" is usually translated as "house" in English, and the pronunciation of "ou" is long vowel [a? ]。

2. Pronunciation of consonants: "Ma" ends with a softened "S" sound [s]. When pronouncing, the tip of the tongue gently touches the gum, and the air flow makes a sound through the gap. The end of "house" is a clear "S" sound [z], and the position of the tip of the tongue and the way of airflow are different from the end "S" of "horse".

3. Stress position: The stress of "Ma" generally falls on the first syllable, which will be relatively heavier and longer when pronounced. The stress of "house" usually falls on the first syllable, but due to the different vowels, the overall stress feeling may be different from that of "horse".
