Jia Yueting, I want to tell you what I have experienced these years?

At 2 pm on July 17, on the second floor of a five-star hotel less than 500 meters away from the new site of CCTV, a middle-aged man broke through the obstruction of more than ten security guards and slapped the closed meeting. At the door of the hall, "Jia Yueting! Pay back the money! LeTV! Pay back the money!"

In front of him was a row of security guards who used their bodies as a cordon, and behind him were more than 30 people who were as angry as him. Their bodies were almost touching the security guard. Inside the door is LeTV’s second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2017. Jia Yueting was not present.

The man who "wanted to meet Jia Yueting" is from Chengdu, Sichuan. His name is Su Yihong. He is 35 years old. He is the boss of a local advertising company. The boss is owed more than 7 million yuan by LeTV. One of the most delinquent store construction suppliers in the country.

“This money was earned by me and the workers with our lives,” he said, and he wanted to tell Jia Yueting what he had experienced in front of him.

The lobby of LeTV Building was filled with suppliers who came to collect debts.

The order is coming

After graduating in 2004, Su Yihong has been working in construction machinery sales. After ten years of business, as the real estate market slumped, the excavators could no longer be sold.

At a party, Su Yihong talked about the advertising business with his friends. Unexpectedly, the three of them hit it off immediately, and then they formed a partnership and embarked on the road of entrepreneurship. In May 2014, Su Yihong's advertising company received its first order, which was to build street lights for a road in Chongqing. The order of 400,000 yuan can only cover the factory expenses and the wages of a dozen workers.

In the next year, most of the orders received by Su Yihong's company were for the installation of street signs and light boxes, and the orders were not large.

In December 2015, at another dinner table, a colleague told him that a company called LeTV was developing a new business. To start making mobile phones, it needed to set up a large number of physical stores.

Su Yihong, who has installed and designed storefronts for Samsung, OPPO, HTC and other brands, immediately decided to participate in the bidding. His company won the bid based on its high-quality products.

Su Yihong, who has become LeTV’s only store decoration supplier in the southwest region, received the first order from LeTV, which was to decorate nearly a hundred stores. The time given by LeTV is only one month.

At that time, Su Yihong's company had only twelve people, and the workload of one hundred stores required all employees, including Su Yihong himself, to work all night long to complete it.

But in Su Yihong's view, LeTV is his first listed company customer, and it is an excellent opportunity to promote new business and promote the company to expand its scale.

Working all night, "too tired to have any energy"

After receiving the construction list, Su Yihong arranged for four employees to work all night to design the store counter. The most difficult job is installation. Su Yihong said that workers are only allowed to enter the mall for construction after nine o'clock, and it often takes four to five hours to complete the decoration of a store.

This means that a team of people can only complete the decoration of two stores in one night. Therefore, Su Yihong arranged for his troops to be divided into two teams. Each team would first deliver the counter to the installation location during the day, and then complete the decoration overnight after 9 p.m.

Su Yihong recalled that after starting his business for more than a year, he had just gotten used to changing from a weathered salesman to a boss sitting in the office. But for a period of time, he had to work with workers on deliveries and decorations every day.

“It’s true that I’m too tired and my body is broken. But if we don’t work harder, we won’t be able to complete the task at all.” Su Yihong described his business as a war, “If we can complete it, we must complete it. If it doesn’t work, just replace it with someone else,” he said. If production cannot be completed, there will be no cooperation in the future and the company will not be able to develop.

In order to complete LeTV’s orders on time, Su Yihong and the workers worked together to deliver goods during the day and install them all night. Dinner is fast food, steamed buns and steamed buns from convenience stores. If you have no energy, drink a sports drink.

At around two o'clock in the night, after installing the first store, the group had to drive to the second construction site. But after a day and a night of heavy physical labor, "I drive tired almost every night," Su Yihong said. He is the one driving every night because young workers do more work and are more tired. I'm afraid something will happen."

One day, all four workers in the car fell asleep, and Su Yihong was watching alone for more than 100 kilometers.

“One time I couldn’t hold it any longer and just closed my eyes on the highway. I heard someone honking in my dream. I opened my eyes suddenly and found that the front of the car was about to hit the guardrail. I turned the steering wheel hard and brought the car back. The worker behind me was sleeping soundly. "Su Yihong then said, "This happened more than once."

Running blindfold

In April 2016, the final payment for the first quarter was credited to Su Yihong’s account on time. He paid bonuses to the workers. Everyone was very happy and thought that the company’s turnaround had finally come. .

As May Day approaches, LeTV’s orders are increasing every month. In order to adapt to the increasing business volume, Su Yihong’s manpower has increased to 35 people. Su Yihong's company rejected almost all small orders and invested nearly 90% of the company's manpower and material resources into LeTV's business.

Su Yihong is a businessman, and he knows the truth that "eggs cannot be put in one basket". While he was busy, he began to worry about whether it was a prudent decision to put almost all the company's resources on a large customer.

The regional manager of LeTV told him that mobile phones are a new business that the company is fully expanding, and LeTV is a listed company, so funding has never been a problem. His colleagues told him that people all over the country were working hard and there must be plenty of money.

In early May 2016, Su Yihong’s mobile phone prompted him to receive a sum of 90,000 yuan, but he did not react for a while. After repeated confirmation with the finance department, he realized that this was the final payment for the April order paid by LeTV for store construction in the Yunnan-Guizhou region.

But aren’t the orders in April millions?

"LeTV will not owe money, and it will be paid next month." The regional manager gave Su Yihong such a "boost in the arm." Sure enough, the outstanding balance was paid in full in early June, and the balance of business in the main business areas was also received on time. Su Yihong, who made 3 million in two quarters, swallowed his worries.

Since July, in order to welcome the National Day, orders have been flying in to Su Yihong like crazy. In the third quarter, orders reached an astonishing 7 million yuan. In order to complete the task, Su Yihong and his workers maintained a high spirits for three consecutive months. "Overnight, LeTV stores were everywhere."

The capital chain is broken

Until the end of the third quarter, Su Yihong always "believed in LeTV with all his heart" in the face of rumors in the market. He believes that listed companies are reliable, not to mention that Su Yihong's company is just a hair in the system. "LeTV will not fail to pay back money."

After receiving the final payment in September, he plans to take his employees to Jiuzhaigou first and then to Dujiangyan during the National Day period.

At the end of September 2016, it was time to settle the balance of the first three quarters, but after Su Yihong raised the price in the settlement form, he did not receive a penny in his account. Since in the third quarter, many suppliers required cash settlement, not to mention group travel, workers' wages and bonuses in the next few months were still in question, and suppliers of panels and light boxes were calling one after another to collect payment.

Some media were the first to report the news of LeTV’s capital chain crisis. The explanation given by the regional manager was "Don't be afraid, we will pay after the National Day."

But at this time, Su Yihong's capital chain had been broken. In order to pay wages to workers, he mortgaged his 90-square-meter house and three cars in downtown Chengdu, and scraped together more than 1 million yuan in relief funds from relatives, friends and classmates to keep the company running.

In the most difficult time, he even needed to sell scrap materials in the factory to subsidize the daily expenses of the factory.

In November 2016, three people came to Su Yihong’s office. They were the bosses of a plate supplier and asked if they could pay part of the outstanding balance.

Just when he made it clear that the funds could no longer be circulated, the other party did not leave. Instead, they followed Su Yihong wherever he went. After a stalemate for an afternoon, Su Yihong borrowed 50,000 yuan in front of them before they left.

“Many workers were watching at that time and were very confused.” Su Yihong recalled that during the most difficult time of the company, when wages could not be paid, some insisted and others chose to leave.

In one month, only 15 of the 35 employees remained. The company has been unable to pay wages for three months. But there is still another hurdle waiting for Su Yihong - the Chinese New Year is coming.

Going into debt to celebrate the New Year

With 10 days left before the Spring Festival, Su Yihong boarded a flight from the Land of Abundance to the capital.

With the contact of the regional manager, Su Yihong came to the downstairs of LeTV Building together with 20 store construction suppliers from across the country. But the scene in front of him made Su Yihong dumbfounded. There were actually two groups of people holding banners in front of LeTV to collect debts. Su Yihong's heart suddenly went cold, "It turns out that we have been kept in the dark."

After initial communication with LeTV failed, Su Yihong and his team decided to also banner.

After three days of communication and gaming, LeTV Mobile paid the 20% arrears on the spot and signed a repayment agreement, saying that it would return the balance on a monthly basis.

After receiving more than one million yuan and looking at the official seal of LeTV Mobile on the agreement, Su Yihong finally felt a stone fall. This year can be passed.

After Su Yihong returned to Chengdu, the workers were very happy, but Su Yihong was not happy at all. "Because there are suppliers queuing up on the other end of the phone to ask for money."

At the New Year party, relatives and friends said, "You are so busy this year, you must have made a lot of money secretly." Su Yihong could only smile bitterly. .

“The tuition fee is too high”

After the New Year, LeTV did not pay the remaining balance in accordance with the agreement. In February, Su Yihong and colleagues he had already met met again in Beijing. This time, LeTV Mobile sent the head of the financial department and said, "There is no money in the account, I understand."

After another three days of gaming, the finance team paid 5 of arrears. This trip to Beijing made Su Yihong realize that what was waiting for him was a tug-of-war.

During this period, Su Yihong received a call from Chengdu, saying that the factory had been sealed off and the power switch had been pulled. Three cars outside the factory blocked the door, shouting "No" to the factory. No one can get out after paying back the money.” This supplier was one of his most important suppliers in the past. The partners who once trusted each other the most finally fell out.

In a blink of an eye, poplar catkins were floating in Beijing, and then, the dog days of summer came.

In order to reduce the cost of rights protection, some suppliers set up tents and spread mats in the lobby of LeTV Building. Wearing slippers, they lay scattered in the lobby; they used loudspeakers to repeatedly play the recording of "LeTV pay back the money! Jia Yueting pays back the money!"

As of July, Su Yihong still owed more than 2 million yuan to his suppliers, and the mortgaged house and car had a second mortgage.

Companies that were “severely weakened” are regaining the small customers they lost in the past, and “star companies” that once achieved tens of millions of dollars are starting to accept orders worth tens of thousands or even thousands of dollars again.

He is negotiating an agreement with his supplier to pay principal and interest or make monthly repayments.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier if you ran out of money? Why did you still place orders when the capital chain was broken last year? Doesn't this push me into a pit of fire!" Su Yihong said, "If in October last year If I had stopped working in time, I would not have fallen into such a deep situation."

"These experiences have taught me the most important lesson in life. I have learned a lot," he said, and I will never place orders from major customers in the future. If it exceeds 50% of the total business volume, the business must be diversified. The worst case scenario is to start over again, life will go on. ”

“However, the tuition fee this time is too high. " he said.

You have suffered so much for a small team, you have sacrificed everything for others, and what you get in return is not rewards. How can you not be sad? Jia Yueting, please give everyone a true statement!
