What's the service like in the VIP room of Shanghai Airport? Introduction of VIP Lounge in Shanghai Hongqiao and Pudong Airport

Both airports in Shanghai have lounges. First, briefly introduce the two airports, and then introduce the lounge. Not all airport lounges can be visited. Some people can enjoy the lounge by buying air tickets, while others can buy them.

Overview of two airports in Shanghai

Hongqiao Airport (Sha /ZSSS) is located in the west of Shanghai, about13 ~17km away from the People's Square in the city center.

Hongqiao Airport has two terminals separated by a runway. T 1 is about13km away from the urban area, and operates international flights from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan (currently suspended, as well as domestic flights of Xiamen Airlines and Spring Airlines; T2 is about 17km away from downtown, and operates all other domestic flights.

Hongqiao Railway Station is close to T2 Hongqiao Airport. Although there is a subway station, it is recommended to walk quickly, the walking distance is about 500 meters, and some sections have automatic trails.

Pudong Airport (PVG/ZPSD) is located in the east of Shanghai, about 40 kilometers away from the People's Square in the city center.

Pudong Airport is also two terminals at present, with a passage in the middle for walking. The ground side of the T 1 and T2 check-in halls is domestic in the north and international Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in the south.

T 1 was built earlier, and the northern half and the southern half of the empty side of the terminal were used at home and abroad respectively. It operates domestic and international flights of China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and China United Airlines, as well as Air France, KLM, Delta, South Korea and China of SkyTeam (note that several other members of SkyTeam, such as Vietnam Southern Airlines, Indonesia Airlines and Aeroflot, are all in T2, as well as Qantas and Jal, two good friends of China Eastern Airlines around the world.

T2 is relatively new, and all airlines except T 1 are in T2. Domestic and international use different floors (the advantage is that both domestic and international can fly on the same covered bridge, and the international flight does not have to fly far from home, and the domestic part is mixed.

There are no international floors at the north and south ends of T2, which are all domestic boarding gates, so domestic flights are likely to reach the terminal boarding gate.

Pudong Airport also has the largest satellite building in the world, which is divided into S 1 and S2. S 1 and S2 are physically connected, but not connected. There are MRT connections T 1 and T2 respectively. The satellite building has no check-in security function. After security check, you can take the MRT to the satellite building according to the sign at the beginning of the gate number (G/H). Satellite building S 1/S2, like T2, is domestic and international layered and domestic mixed.

Although the main terminal T and the satellite building S are interconnected, for the convenience of management, relatively fixed airlines are arranged for both T2 and S2. Specifically, domestic airlines are: China International Airlines, Jixiang Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines are all in T2, while China Southern Airlines, Spring Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and Sichuan Airlines are all in S2.

In Shanghai's two major airports, VIP services enjoyed by using high-end bank cards are mixed with ordinary passengers (card users generally call them "CIP"), while the common independent parking lot-independent entrance-lounge before security check-independent security check-sending cars to covered bridges or remote seats in second-and third-tier airports (VVIP-level services are not provided).

In the two airports in Shanghai, there is no VIP lounge directly named by any bank open to the public, so there is no false proposition that which bank's VIP lounge (lounge) is better. All supported banking services are basically the same, that is, a full set of services including check-in, security check and lounge.

Hongqiao Airport

Hongqiao T2 check-in hall from north to south is (Air China, Hainan Airlines, etc. BC (China Eastern Airlines), D (China Southern Airlines Island), facing the railway station, there are E Island (Jixiang Airlines) and F Island (China Eastern Airlines, high-end). Remember to find the most central position, that is, the middle of BC Island, and there will be the following "VIP Club" sign.

Show your physical bank card (or other electronic certificate and boarding pass (including electronic boarding pass for verification and registration) to the front desk, and you will generally be asked to leave your mobile phone number so as to call to remind you to board the plane.

There is no check-in function at the front desk. In theory, you can arrange a little brother or sister to accompany you to the airline counter to check in. If you don't need to check in, it is recommended to take the electronic boarding pass directly (Hongqiao Airport ordinary counters and self-service check-in terminals don't have paper boarding passes, which is faster.

Most high-end debit cards and credit cards of banks with "airport VIP lounge" service can be used here. How many times can I use it every year? If I can bring someone, please ask the bank. Basically, you don't need to make an appointment. You can use it whenever you want.

Most banks' POS machines need to swipe physical cards, and some users are worried that double-label cards are easy to be swiped. In order to avoid trouble, you can turn off the overseas credit card/card-free payment function or lock the card with one button (locking the card will not affect the authority verification). Of course, many banks are now providing APP code scanning function.

If your card provides services such as Longteng and PriorityPass, please skip to the introduction of V 1 back lounge.

There are usually three service modes, also known as "CIP":

First, for users with reduced scale, such as Alipay Diamond members, users near boarding time will arrange to rest in the lounge behind the front desk before security check. There is no hot food in this lounge, only instant noodles, biscuits and snacks.

The back door of the waiting room is 24 first class and 25 priority security channels, and the staff will guide you to these two channels for security check. There is usually a queue, but it is slightly shorter than the queue at the security checkpoint in economy class.

As it is the lounge before security check, please don't pack drinks to avoid embarrassment caused by security check.

The second type will arrange for users with boarding gates within about 50 to go directly to the above-mentioned security checkpoints 24 and 25 from the back door of the lounge.

Turn left after security check, and follow the sign of V 1-V3 lounge. On the way, you will pass through Air China's V3 lounge and enter the corridor marked VIPLOUNGE on the left side of V3, that is, V 1, opposite to China Eastern Airlines' V2 lounge. Just give the front desk list and boarding pass directly to the front desk, no need to swipe your card.

There used to be a battery car service from the lounge to the boarding gate, but now there is no such service.

The third type will arrange for users with boarding gates above 50 to go upstairs from the escalator opposite the front desk, cross the overpass at the top of the front desk and go upstairs to the lounge on the 2 1 meter floor.

2 1m floor, V2 1N before security check, more than downstairs before security check. The noodle stand is not here, and an aunt will send it by car. The best thing about the 2 1 m floor is that a small ticket will be given through the special security channel on the 2 1 m floor, and few people have to wait in line. After security check, take the elevator downstairs to Gate 46.

I tried to take the first bus of the subway 10 line at 6:2 1 to Terminal 2. After the first security check, I ran to the VIP club around 6:25, but there was something wrong with the card reader. Go upstairs at 6:29, eat noodles, then go to the air security check at 6:39, arrive at gate 5x around 6:48 and arrive at 7: 00.

There is also an "Airport Easy" counter on the 2 1m floor, which receives the users of China UnionPay Express 65438+CIP, 0 yuan and 6.2 yuan.

In practice, you can also negotiate with the front desk where to go according to your own needs. As long as you are a bank user, you can generally choose at will. Each of the three methods has its advantages and disadvantages: there is no food downstairs before the security check, but it is faster. If you eat well in V 1, you have to walk some distance. If you want to go upstairs and downstairs at 2 1 m, you don't have to wait in line for security check.

Let's introduce the V 1 lounge.

V/KLOC-0 was redecorated in 2008, and divided into area A and area B. Area A is richer in hot food and more spacious than area B. Usually, users of banks and airlines enter area A, and Longteng PP enters area B. When there are few people, area B may not be open and will be arranged in area A.

After the transformation of V 1A, the functional areas are reasonably divided, and limited edition drinks are provided in the lounge.

V 1A provides three meals of hot food (about 7-9: 00,113, 17- 19: 00). In addition, Jiangsu and Zhejiang noodles are provided all day, and noodle stands are also provided to V1B.

Hongqiao Airport has eight waiting rooms after passing T2 security check, specifically:

V 1 Airport operation: In addition to receiving cooperative banks, Longteng and PP, it also receives VIP members of Cabin II, Hainan and Jixiang Airlines.

V2, V23 and V28 operated by China Eastern Airlines receive coach class and VIP members. There is also a V22 that only receives VIPs. As China Eastern Airlines represents the ground service of Shandong Airlines, cabin 2 and VIP members of Shandong Airlines can also enter the above lounge.

V26 operated by China Southern Airlines received the second cabin of China Southern Airlines and VIP members, and once supported Longteng.

V3 and V8 operated by Air China receive Air China cabin 2 and VIP members, and V8 also receives Star Alliance VIP.

Although Air China has two lounges at Hongqiao Airport, it does not mean that there are many routes in Hongqiao. In fact, there are only five routes, mainly relying on high-end passenger flow between Beijing and Shanghai.

All the lounges of China Eastern Airlines provide hot food such as signature noodles of China Eastern Airlines, and the lounges of China Southern Airlines also provide their own hot food such as special noodles, which is richer than V 1.

As can be seen from the previous photos of 2 1m floor, V2 1N in the north is the airport logo, and V2 1S in the south is the logo of China Eastern Airlines. China Eastern Airlines has also opened a new lounge V2 1S on the 2 1m floor to provide one-stop service for check-in, rest and security inspection. But this lounge is only open to passengers in the second cabin of China Eastern Airlines.

Please refer to the figure below for the location of the check-in island, waiting room and boarding gate of Hongqiao T2. The boarding gate numbers are sequential clockwise. If it is not marked, please calculate it yourself.

Hongqiao T 1 is newer than T2 after the renovation of 1999. However, because only Spring Airlines was stationed in China at the beginning, there was only a lounge near Gate 6 before the security check. Cooperative banks, Longteng, PP and Xiamen Airlines all had hot food and noodles.

Pudong Airport

No matter T 1 or T2 of Pudong Airport, the reception counter is in the middle of the check-in hall like Hongqiao T2. It's actually quite simple. The operator Shanghai Airport VIP Service Company, the son of Shanghai Airport Group, certainly occupies the best position.

Pudong T 1 is in the middle of FG Island, from A to M*** 12 (entrance No.8, and Pudong T2 is in the middle of FG Island like T 1 (entrance No.25, behind the Chinese Garden below).

Again, "CIP" is not a common name in the industry. In addition to the Capital Airport and other airports have a special "CIP" brand, most airport officials do not call it that. Never ask "where is the CIP service" at the airport. You can ask "where is the VIP service" (most people think this is a VIP or "where is the VIP boarding in the bank".

The use method and service flow of each bank card are similar to Hongqiao. They all swipe their cards at the reception point, accompanied by staff or check in by themselves, take the first-class security check, and rest in the airport lounge after security check. It's just that Pudong doesn't have the security check-in channel on Hongqiao 2 1 m floor, which has almost no queues.

All waiting rooms in Pudong Airport are named after the numbers near the boarding gate, which is convenient for quick positioning. The terminal of T 1 is No.9, and you can get there by going downstairs from Gate No.9. The terminal of S 1 Satellite Building is No.20/KLOC-0.

Lounge 9 is old and has no dining area. The rest area is in the form of a box below. 7~9 o'clock, 1 1~ 13 o'clock, 17~ 19 o'clock have hot meals and no noodles.

Gate 9 needs to turn right about 250 meters after security check. If it is a gate near the security check, there are many roads to walk.

The satellite building of Pudong Airport was put into use in 2006, so the lounges in the satellite building are all very new. Generally speaking, there are hot meals and noodles before 20 o'clock all day.

The airport lounge in T2 is No.73, and the airport lounge in S2 Satellite Building is No.0/90 (get off the MRT, follow the signs and take the straight ladder to the fourth floor.

S2' s waiting room 190 not only receives banks and Longteng users, but also receives two cabins and VIP members of Hainan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and Hebei Airlines in the satellite building.

The structure of the satellite building is very complicated, please read the signs before you act. According to the staff of the lounge, some passengers found the 190 lounge after looking for the boarding gate.

As for the airline lounge, the lounge of China Eastern Airlines at T 1 is No.35 (after security check, turn left, that is, the lounges of S 10 1 8 and 1 18, which only serve its own users and also provide "China Eastern Airlines Bowl Noodles".

T2 has Jixiang Airlines Terminal 86 (Jixiang Airlines flagship terminal, Air China Terminal 90). S2 and China Southern Airlines Lounge 152. Auspicious and China Southern Airlines Lounge have cooperated with Longteng, but they have stopped cooperating at present.

In short, if you only hold Longteng card or PP card, the difference between PP and Longteng and bank card is that there is no check-in and priority security check-in, but the waiting room is the same or even wider.

For the reasons of partners, please refer to the official list of available lounges of Longteng PP, and the top news of this article will be updated as much as possible. Some airline lounges will give priority to their own users and reject third-party users during peak hours. Please understand.

International lounge

Because there are few opportunities to take international flights at present, I put the international lounge at the end, looking forward to returning to China as soon as possible and going abroad at will.

The following introduction comes from my current experience.

There are three waiting rooms on the fourth floor of Hongqiao T 1 International, next to China Eastern Airlines V0 1, Air China V02 and Airport V03. I used Longteng to input V0 1 and V03. In contrast, the food of V0 1 is richer and bigger than that of V03.

Although the two terminals of Pudong Airport operate both domestic and international flights, the VIP services provided by most banks only support domestic flights, not international flights. The reason is that international links are more expensive (you can look at the VIP service of Pudong Airport from the perspective of air travel, which is 300 domestically and 600 internationally, and most banks are unwilling to undertake it). A few banks, such as Societe Generale, can support international flights.

Of course, if international flights are not supported, you can generally simply use the lounge after security check.

Terminal 37 of Pudong T 1 International Airport receives bank and Longteng PP users. Go through the security check and turn left. It's an area near the apron in the waiting hall, which is not much different from the business district. The seats are all open. The food supply is similar to that in Terminal 9, but the snacks in the international terminal will be more abundant than those in the domestic terminal, including beef jerky and small walnuts, as well as fresh sandwiches.

As in China, Terminal 36 of China Eastern Airlines International Zone only receives cabin and VIP members, including SkyTeam super elite members, while Terminal 36 is divided into two areas: business+gold card and silver card, and first class+platinum card. In addition, VIP Room 39 dedicated to JAL and Air France in the airport only receives family members.

Pudong Airport T 1 was built nearly 20 years ago, but it was expanded two years ago, and the big hole in the middle was filled in. The new building is integrated with the original terminal building. The new building includes China Eastern Airlines Lounge 35/36 and Japan Air France Lounge 39, both of which are very new and great, except that there are no windows. Lounge No.9 and Lounge No.37 in the old building are older but have a better view.

S 1 International Airport Lounge 135 and China Eastern Airlines Lounge19 and 137.

T2 International Airport, after the security check, you will see this sign, and with what qualifications you can enter which terminal.

Lounge 69 of the Airport Management Department is next to Lounge 68 of Cathay Pacific.

In addition to 69, there is also lounge 77, where Longteng, PP and personal credit cards can also be used. This is the East Asia Lounge. What? Isn't China Eastern Airlines all at T 1? Well, this lounge was opened by China Eastern Airlines to increase revenue (it was originally opened by Shanghai Airlines to receive elite members of the two cabins of the three major alliance cooperative airlines, and Longteng PP and Centurion Card are also open to everyone, just like the Air China lounge of Beijing T2 International. Lounge 77 also accepts SkyTeam Elite members.

Terminal 77 is newer than the airport terminal, with a spacious area, all kinds of food, both Chinese and western flavors, as well as fresh cakes and cut fruits. There are also freshly baked noodles (the signature is also the bowl of fried eggs with fish balls and powder of China Eastern Airlines). At the same time, there are many kinds of drinks, and you can also take a bath.

Sitting here waiting for the plane, you can see the people waiting in line to board the plane below, and you can also see the giant passenger plane outside the glass wall (this is the parking space of A380.

If there is any shortcoming, it is that the snack drinks in small packages are not as rich as the lounge of the airport VIP company. So if I get enough points, I always go to 77 to eat noodles first, and then go to 69 to get some snacks to eat on the plane. Fortunately, the two lounges are not too far apart on both sides of the security checkpoint. Turn left after security check at 69, turn right after security check at 77, and follow the signs in a few steps.

In addition, Air China lounge 7 1 is also very good. It is only open to Air China and Star Alliance partners, and it is also divided into two areas: gold and silver card business and platinum card. There are also separate lounges for Cathay Pacific 68 and UAE 75.

S2 International has airport lounge 170 and China Eastern Airlines lounge 153 (just like 77, it is used to make money. Looking forward to the day of reopening.

VIP and simplified CIP

Why does the airport provide VIP service? Politicians, rich people, stars, etc. Everyone needs speed and privacy during travel, so it is normal for airports to provide such services. The best VIP service is, of course, in this building at the Capital Airport:

As a general VIP, the airport will arrange a VIP area, which will be managed by a VIP company under the Airport Group. Usually it is an independent VIP building outside the terminal, or a VIP area at the bottom of the terminal. Why put it on the ground floor? Because they all board the plane directly on the ground floor, there is no need to go upstairs and downstairs.

This service is a VIP or VVIP service. In addition to important political guests, VIP companies will also open to the social field in order to generate income.

In addition to the rich and stars, banks are often big customers, and they buy the title hall of the bank every year and provide it to the high-end cardholders of the bank. Although banks have their own VIP rooms, they are similar and generally belong to the "old cadre style", and guest appearances are also common in actual use.

In order to protect privacy, vehicles are usually restricted from entering the VIP area. If you drive there, you may need to report the license plate number in advance. At the same time, because the reception volume is not large, it is generally necessary to make an appointment in advance.

Generally, you can check in and check in directly in the VIP area. In order to facilitate the accompanying flight attendants, the lounge is basically before the security check. Moreover, because real guests generally don't eat at the airport, such waiting rooms are less equipped with hot meals, basically only tea and snacks.

With the increase of ordinary people such as bank card holders, many airports have launched people-oriented hot meal service, and some airports have also played down the reservation requirements.

When boarding the plane, you can quickly check the security in the special security channel in the VIP area. Because the VIP area and the public waiting area are generally impassable, you must take a bus (usually Toyota Kauste, which officials like) to go under the covered bridge, enter the covered bridge from the stairs, or go directly to the long-distance plane.
