Daewoo-one of the brands of General Motors. Daewoo motor is the second largest automobile manufacturer in Korea, with an annual output of over 600,000 cars. 1967, Jin founded the company, which was later changed to Xinjin company, and 1983 was changed to daewoo motor company. It is the backbone enterprise of Daewoo Group in Korea. Headquartered in Incheon, South Korea, GM Daewoo New Company owns and manages three production plants in Changwon, Gunsan and Hanoi, Vietnam. In addition, the newly named Daewoo Incheon Automobile Company in Fuping, South Korea will provide complete vehicles for GM Daewoo. GM Daewoo also has nine overseas branches in Europe and Puerto Rico. The assets of the new company also include automobile design, engineering, research and development, sales, marketing and administrative departments in Fuping, South Korea.
