The first time I saw Wong Kar-wai's movies, I had always heard of his movies, but I never went to see them. Chongqing forest should be his only literary love movie?

The name of the movie is Chongqing Forest. I thought the movie was a story that happened in Chongqing, but it turned out to be a love story between two male policemen in chungking mansions. We were lovelorn separately, and found love again on the way of forgetting our last relationship. "Forest" describes all kinds of lonely souls, but the little people in a building see the loneliness of the people of the whole era.

There are many romantic movies in China now. Although everyone's plot settings are roughly similar, word of mouth is polarized. There are many reasons why a movie is successful. The plot is almost the same. How can we get out? Compared with the so-called literary love movies, Chongqing Forest shows its respect for the trend of the times. At that time, Hong Kong was in a period of rapid development. Chungking mansions is full of foreign markets, and young people begin to pursue themselves, with underground transactions and an invisible world. However, the current literary romantic films are divorced from reality, which makes people feel that the people on the screen are artificial and can't be empathetic.

After getting along with Effie, he began to get rid of the shadow of lovelorn. Finally, 663 found this and didn't scold her, so she went to a bar in California. There has always been a California melody in their stories. Effie arrived at the bar early because of the rain, but she wanted to know if it was sunny in another California. A year later, two people met at the place where they first met, and their story continued.

I haven't seen any other films in Wong Kar-wai, so I guess I will make up related films during this time. Has his shooting skill always been like this? He always looks at a person's behavior through doors, windows, mirrors or cracks. This angle is very real. There is a kind of love that you are watching, instead of turning the hero and heroine into yourself.

I don't know if Hong Kong movies of that era were still popular for filming. The film "Chongqing Forest Sense" shows chungking mansions's hazy feeling. In the late-night bars and noisy vegetable markets, everyone lives a life that is not exquisite, just like in movies, there is always a strong contrast.

The unique grainy texture of the film is accompanied by psychedelic and blues music, which makes people deeply immersed in these two stories. The tense and harsh music at the beginning is accompanied by Brigitte Lin's running, and the film ends with Faye Wong's dream man.

This movie also made me know Faye Wong again. I didn't know why she became a singer before, but it was really interesting to hear the episode in the movie. But in recent years, I still can't appreciate the theme songs sung by those youth pain movies. In the movie, Faye Wong's neat short hair is the same as her free and casual personality. She likes dreaming, and she also wants to pursue her dreams. A song interspersed in Effie's story also made her angry: Dream Man.
