School profile
Jiujiang Foreign Affairs Tourism School, i.e. Jiujiang Women's Vocational School, 1996 was established with the approval of Jiujiang Municipal Education Commission and belongs to Jiujiang Tourism Bureau. It is the only women's vocational school in Jiujiang, and it is also an influential school of tourism and related supporting majors in Jiangxi Province.
The school is located at the foot of Lushan Mountain, on the west side of Lushan Avenue in Jiujiang City, close to Changjiu Expressway and Jiujing Expressway. You can take the 16 bus directly to the school, and the traffic is very convenient. Campus trees, flowers, fish ponds and rockery pavilion, beautiful environment. Clean and tidy dining room, computer room, language lab, multimedia classroom, art gallery, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis room, infirmary and other facilities are readily available.
School goal
In order to make students "recruit, stay and go out", the school attaches great importance to teaching research, especially to the cultivation of students' practical skills, and often organizes relevant teaching and research activities, on-site observation and teaching, and practical training in surrounding attractions. The school also pays attention to the construction of employment network. The employment outlets of the school are mainly Beijing, Shanghai, developed coastal cities and major travel agencies, hotels and scenic spots in Jiujiang.
In order to implement the strategic policy of Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government of "revitalizing the city through tourism", adapt to the urgent demand of the tourism talent market, and train more and better practical talents for the tourism industry, the school has newly set up specialties such as hotel management and train crew.

Many excellent tourism talents have been trained for the society, among which Zou Qian was awarded the title of Top Ten Star Tour Guides in Jiangxi Province in 2003, and John Yang was awarded the title of Tourism Image Ambassador in Jiangxi Province in 2004, adding luster to the "Charming Jiujiang". In 2005, the school was rated as "Advanced Unit of Vocational Education in Jiujiang City". In 2006, it was listed as "Jiujiang Base of Jiangxi Tourism Training Center" by Jiangxi Provincial Tourism Bureau, and it was called "the cradle of Jiujiang tour guides". The average pass rate of the national tour guide qualification examination is 65%, ranking among the best in Jiangxi Province!
