Brief introduction of langham hotel.

Langham Place (English: Langham Place) is located in Portland Street, Mong Kok. It was completed in 2004 and is a famous landmark in this area.

Langham Place is a trinity large-scale development project, which consists of shopping center-Langham Place Shopping Center, hotel-Langham Place Hotel and office building-Langham Place Office Building. The three projects planned by langham place are complementary. Large shopping malls have a large number of shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities, while high-end office buildings and five-star hotels bring high-spending office workers and tourists to shopping malls respectively, forming a stable consumption chain.

Building process

An old residential land in Langham Place was originally 6.5438+0.8 million square feet. Later, with the cooperation of the Urban Renewal Authority and Yingxian Group, after ten years of planning and reconstruction, the office buildings and hotels finally took the lead in opening in the third quarter of 2004, and the shopping malls also began to open in the same year.

In the process of redevelopment, due to the complex ownership of the development area, involving a large number of affected households and bottom tenants, as well as the complex tunnel and cable system hidden underground, it has brought many difficulties to the project.

Jade Partners is responsible for the design work, while Wang Ouyang, a Hong Kong architect, is the project architect. The entire Langham Place project is designed with a round and mixed appearance as the main line.

The biggest feature of the shopping mall is the "Tian Tong Elevator" connecting the 4A floor and the 8th floor, which can be regarded as one of the longest shopping mall escalators in Hong Kong.

In the early days of Langham Place, there was an incident of food poisoning after customers ate in shopping malls and restaurants. Later, it was found that some restaurants there were "stealing operations" (that is, operating without the permission of the relevant units), and one restaurant closed down here.

In 2005, Hong Kong TVB drama Destiny was also filmed in this shopping center. The play was broadcast on TVB Emerald Channel from February 20th to March 6th, 2006.

The Great Deconstruction of Langham Square

1/F to 3/F fashion brand convergence

The first floor to the third floor can be described as the concentration of famous brands. Many international brands have entered the large-scale shops on this floor, including Armani Exchange, Miss Six, Shu Uemura, Benetton United colors and other fashion clothes. Grand atrium, 4th floor, Food Plaza

This is the best place to recharge your batteries after your shopping spree, because there are Chinese, Western, Japanese, Korean and Italian cuisines, including Starbucks, Manji, Spicy House and Yuan Qishou, which cater to the stomachs of different diners.

The 5th to 7th floors focus on young clothes.

Mong Kok is a world for young people. Since the shopping mall is located here, of course, we should take care of the needs of young people. From the fifth floor to the seventh floor, there are many famous young fashion shops, including I.T. and its b+ab, Double Park and French Connection. Do you also take the Japanese girl road? Beautiful Claup, super lover, etc. On the sixth floor, there are supernovae, carnival night and local original brand heroes meeting.

8th Floor to12nd Floor Spiral Tidal Zone

The spiral area is located on the eighth to tenth floors, which is one of the two special areas of the shopping center. The four-story shopping center is designed in a spiral shape, and 150 stores sell fashionable young people's toys, clothes and furniture.

12 floor and 13 floor ozone entertainment area

Another special area of the shopping center, Ozone, which is still under construction, is located on the top floor of the shopping center. It is the ultimate place to eat, drink and have fun. There are all kinds of restaurants, bars and cafes, and it is the best place to enjoy the "digital sky" at close range.

Three must-see places in shopping malls.

Grand Atrium, a food plaza located on the fourth floor, is the main intersection of shopping centers, hotels and commercial buildings. You can take the longest Xpresscalators in Hong Kong to the seventh floor of the shopping center. The art metal tree placed in the center of the lobby was originally an environmental protection facility with fire fighting equipment and air conditioning outlets. There is the first digital canopy in Hong Kong at the top of the shopping mall, which can play digital images.

The floor in the spiral area is spiral. If you want to visit all the shops in this area, you must follow the spiral steps. Because there are steps everywhere, so don't just look at the window and accidentally fall down!

Located at the main entrance of the shopping center, this 30-foot-tall sculpture of Happy People is the first sculpture created by designer Larry Bell outside the United States, symbolizing power and vitality, and has become a landmark building of Langham Place.

Before the planning and development of langham place, the old district was a well-known red light district in Hong Kong, which opened nightclubs, karaoke backup singers, massage parlors and other pornographic undertakings. Yingjun Group once said that it hopes to turn this place from a relatively civilian entertainment and shopping area into a new shopping area with high taste and high trend, and inject new vitality. In the past, the commercial development in Mong Kok, east of Nathan Road, was generally slower than that in the west of Nathan Road, but this situation has improved since the opening of langham place.
