Where can I taste authentic local snacks in Nanchang?
Speaking of Nanchang, I believe everyone knows that there are many snacks in Nanchang, which are quite strong in taste. Let everyone see that you have a good appetite. In fact, everyone is afraid of stepping on surprises when going to a new place, so as a Nanchang native who is not from Nanchang, I would like to recommend what you should eat when you go to Nanchang, because I have studied in Nanchang for several years.
1. Boiled Fried
This is the first Nanchang specialty snack that I thought of. (Because I didn’t taste the mixed powder that was particularly delicious, but any crock pot soup is good.) I also specifically looked for the so-called Thirty Years Red Lantern, but the red lantern really didn’t suit my taste. Other famous chains include Mingdao fried food and delicious boiled food. There is a Qiu Xiang Jian in the alley opposite the Vienna Hotel on Zhanqian West Road, which is also very popular.
2. Nanchang Food
The two bedrooms and one living room here in Nanchang are what we commonly call the fly restaurant. The two-bedroom restaurant I ate was pretty good. At Duck Pond Alley on Yangzi Street, the fish dipped in oil such as crab legs and chicken feet is pretty good. The service is good and the price is very cheap. However, a friendly reminder that Nanchang is salty and spicy. If you don't like it, you can ask your boss to put less salt in it.
3. Lu Wei
Since we are in Nanchang, besides Zhou Hei Ya, how can we not try the local braised food? Two famous ones are Huang Shang Huang and Di Huang. Huanghuang is suitable for people who can eat spicy food, but the service attitude is really bad.
4. Cake
I don’t know if this is a specialty of Nanchang, but there are several shops that taste good. Tiantian Pie on Yuanming South Road has good meat pies; Lao Hu’s breakfast shop across from Baihuazhou Primary School has good shrimp pies, and the owner is particularly enthusiastic. The spring rolls and lotus root sandwich from Hubei Fried Food across from their house are delicious; the Cheng Xiao Shaobing on Xiangshan North Road is also delicious, just like Liu Ruoying's.
5. Spicy strips
Haha, this is also a special snack! Garlic squab, dried beans and Pingxiang flower butterfly.
Rope Tower, Laowu Soup Shop. Crock Pot Soup. Side dishes. There are many similar shops nearby.
Zhongshan Road, behind Parkson. Red lantern. Boiled. Lots of branches. All colleges and universities have similar stores.
Gold chopsticks on Zhongshan Road. Fried skewers. Lots of branches.
Wanshou Palace, trolley. Zongzi, jelly in summer, soup in winter. Spicy beef sausage, lotus root slices, and lotus root balls are all available.
Fat rice noodle shop. Tan Hong.
Each area in Nanchang has its own signboard, it depends on where you are.
