What are ordinary small supermarkets in Russia like?
The hotel is next to the Red Square in Moscow, only two blocks away from the onion cathedral-the Ascension Church of St. Vasily, less than one kilometer away. Therefore, the hotel prices in this area are a bit high, and a very ordinary standard residential room needs 650 yuan RMB.
But it's really convenient to win. Besides being close to the scenic spots, there are several supermarkets nearby, and the nearest supermarket is the place we often go.
This supermarket is very small and mainly sells all kinds of food. There are fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, dairy products, meat products, dry goods and non-staple foods, as well as other diapers such as babies.
Russian tomatoes are particularly good. We brought a small wok and used it to cook beef balls sold in the supermarket. This soup has a strong tomato flavor and is very delicious. Rub a box of beef balls, about 16, 190 rubles, equivalent to RMB 19. Four tomatoes are about two kilograms, about 80 rubles.
Looking at the price, I think dairy products are the most cost-effective. A bottle of 500ML fresh milk costs 50 rubles, which is only worth 5 yuan RMB. I bought a bottle to taste. It's really delicious, and the milk is rich in flavor and of good quality. This price is really a surprise, and the bigger the price, the more cost-effective. Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator in the room, otherwise I would definitely buy a large bottle and drink it slowly.
The eggs here are similar to those in China, and they are divided into different varieties, one box 10, and the price ranges from several yuan to more than ten yuan, as well as edible oil and sunflower seed oil. The price is very kind, 1 liter, 800 rubles, equivalent to about RMB 8 yuan. I'm not afraid of cooking fumes in the hotel room, and I almost bought a pot to take away.
Russia has jiaozi. When I was in Nha Trang, I saw a dumpling restaurant opened by a Russian. I was curious about Russian jiaozi. When I saw it in a Russian supermarket this time, I definitely wanted to buy some to try. But this time I feel that jiaozi is a little expensive. Beef stuffing costs more than 300 rubles, and vegetable stuffing costs more than 100 rubles. Moreover, jiaozi with beef stuffing tastes terrible and has an unspeakable strange smell. Maybe this is the smell that Russians like. Next time you buy a vegetable stuffing, there may be a delicious surprise!
