Hailuogou, located in Moxi Town, Luding County, Sichuan Province, is the main part of Gongga Mountain Scenic Area, the "king of mountains" in Sichuan Province. It is a comprehensive scenic spot integrating marine glaciers, hot springs, snow-capped mountains, virgin forests and ancient ice lakes. From the pastoral scenery of the subtropical mountain village in Goukou to the virgin forest scenery in the sub-cold zone, the height difference is 6000 meters. There are seven distinct climatic zones and plant zones. Hailuogou Glacier is one of the few low-latitude and low-altitude glaciers found in the world, which can be boarded all year round. Among them, Glacier 1 is the largest, longest and most magnificent glacier 1 in Gongga Mountain, ranging from 2940m to 6750m, with a total length of13km. Glacier 1 Great Ice Waterfall Height1080m, Width1100m. It is the largest ice waterfall in Asia at present, with a total length of 5 kilometers, all extending into the original fir forest belt.

Second, traffic.

Chengdu to Luding is 309 kilometers, of which Chengdu to Ya 'an 134 kilometers are expressways, and the rest are asphalt roads. Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station sends it to Hailuogou at 9: 00 every day, and the model is medium-high air conditioner at 9: 00107/1/4 yuan.

Tips:

We take the bus back and forth from the travel agency, mainly to save comprehensive expenses, and the specific reasons will be explained in the "expenses" later.

Backpack, sunglasses, gloves, sun hat, kettle/water bag, because it is cold in the morning and evening, you must wear a windproof coat. If the glacier is below, the ice will be slippery. It is best to wear hiking shoes and a hiking stick.

We stayed in Jinshan Hotel for one night (booked with travel agency, standard room price 100/ room), and the main purpose was to watch Rizhao Jinshan the next morning. Although it is Samsung, the conditions are not so good. We can only rely on the electric blanket on the bed to keep warm, and hot water will not be available until after 8 pm. I want to know what the situation is like in Yinshan Mountain.

1. Hailuogou Glacier

Hailuogou Glacier in Gongga Mountain is one of the few modern glaciers with low latitude and low altitude that can be immersed in it all the year round, and it is a bright pearl in China's tourist attractions. There are 159 glaciers in Gongga Mountain area, among which 1 Hailuogou Glacier is the largest, longest and most magnificent of the 74 modern glaciers around Gongga Mountain, and it is the main part of Hailuogou Glacier landscape, with a total area of 23.2 square kilometers and an altitude of 6,750 to 2,940 meters. From high to low, it consists of snow basins, large ice waterfalls and glacier tongues, with a total length of 6500. The glacier tongue is 5 kilometers long, all of which extend into the original fir forest belt, forming a rare natural scenery of glacier forest in the world. Roaming on the glacier tongue with a thickness of 40 ~150m, you can enjoy various and peculiar glacier landscapes, such as glacier arches, ice lakes, ice towers, glacier shiitake mushrooms, glacier cracks, ice caves, ice bridges, glaciers, glacier portals and so on. The Great Ice Waterfall is an important part of Hailuogou 1 Glacier. After the glacier overflowed from the granular snow basin, a huge and magnificent ice waterfall with a height of1080m and a width of10m was formed along the ice bed in front of the basin. It is the largest known ice waterfall in Asia and China, and it is also the world. The glacier on the Great Ice Waterfall is a super-extensional flow and is in a state of collapse. There are frequent ice collapses all year round, and small ice collapses can reach thousands of times every day from spring to autumn. Whenever a large-scale ice collapse occurs, blue light shines, snow and ice dance, snow waves roll, noise rumbles, and it is magnificent and earth-shaking, and can be heard several kilometers away. When you stand outside the ice avalanche warning zone in front of Hailuogou Great Ice Waterfall (3 kilometers away from the Great Ice Waterfall), you may see this magnificent and shocking natural wonder on the Great Ice Waterfall.

2. Hailuogou Glacier Waterfall

Walk three kilometers along the glacier and bypass the black pine forest, and you can see this big ice waterfall. The width of the ice waterfall is 1 100 meters, and the drop is 1080 meters. It is made up of countless huge radiant ice cubes, like the Milky Way pouring down from the blue sky. No language can describe its magnificence unless you see it with your own eyes. The highest point of the glacier is 6750 meters above sea level, while the lowest point is only 2850 meters above sea level. It is not only a glacier with low latitude and low altitude, but also the glacier with the biggest drop.

Because the ice waterfall composed of ice bodies does not flow like a waterfall, it constantly collapses due to the melting and freezing of ice bodies. In the spring and summer when glacier activity is intense, it can reach thousands of times a day, and at most, it can collapse millions of cubic meters of ice at a time. When the ice collapses, the violent collision and friction between ice bodies will produce discharge. At that time, the blue light flashed, the earth trembled, the valley flourished, and thousands of ice cubes in Qian Qian slid and splashed, raising snow and fog all over the sky.

The scenic spots of the ice waterfall are selected after many observations and calculations, and they are several kilometers away from the ice waterfall. Therefore, even the biggest ice avalanche will not pose a threat to the safety of tourists.

There are many glaciers in Hailuogou, and there are three larger glaciers. The largest one is called Glacier 1, which is probably the 14 axiom.

Hailuogou Glacier is the most accessible glacier for ordinary people. Generally, people with physical strength can climb glaciers with ice thickness of about 100 meters, but tourists are generally not allowed to go to the Great Ice Waterfall by themselves, because there is a hidden river under the ice sheet, which may lead to a big mistake if they are not careful.

Glacier No.2 and Glacier No.3 in Hailuogou are axioms of 4.8 and 4.2 respectively, which are on the edge of Glacier 1, but their lowest point is also above 3,650 meters, which is difficult for ordinary people to reach and only professional climbers can climb.

3. Primitive forest

The unique geographical conditions of Hailuogou make the height difference in the ditch reach about 6000 meters. Based on this, there are obvious multi-level climate connection, polar cover connection and soil zone in the ditch, and more than 2500 kinds of wild plants from subtropical zone to cold zone are concentrated in one scenic spot. Walking slowly along the surrounding mountain roads, visitors can clearly feel the endless changes of the surrounding plant landscape. From palm trees and green bamboo forests in the valley; To the towering old trees and the blooming rhododendrons in the virgin forest; Rich and colorful herbaceous wildflowers and lichen vegetation in high altitude areas; See things in a blur.

There are more than 400 species of wild animals in Hailuogou, among which 28 species are rare animals under special state protection. They walked between the valley and the virgin forest. Although there are many fierce bears and wild boars among them, they won't attack people as long as they don't take the initiative to hurt people. Most wild animals have gradually become familiar to human beings. With the increase of tourists and the implementation of the national wildlife protection law, wild animals are no longer afraid of human beings, but should get along well with tourists.

5. Moxi Ancient Town

With its unique glacier advantage, Hailuogou has attracted nearly one million tourists to visit Range Rover. The only way to Hailuogou Scenic Area is called Goukou, and there is an ancient town of Moxi, which is also famous for Hailuogou in recent years.

Moxi Town is located in the south of Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, on the east slope of Gongga Mountain Scenic Area and at the entrance of Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park. Belonging to the peripheral protection zone of Hailuogou Scenic Area, it is the tourist reception base and entrance of Hailuogou Scenic Area. Moxi Town is about 304 kilometers away from Chengdu, 52 kilometers away from Luding and 70 kilometers away from Kangding. The highway from Moxi to Kangding has been completed. After swimming in Hailuogou, you can directly visit the famous plateau city in Kangding.

Mo Xi was called Mo Xi in ancient times. It was originally inhabited by descendants of Miao nationality. The Mogangling ancient road, which began in the Han Dynasty, made Moxi a prosperous town on the Sichuan-Tibet passage. There is a relatively complete old city block in Moxi Town, which is an ancient residential building complex in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Walking on the old road paved with bluestone slabs seems to be going back to the past. During the Long March of the Red Army, Mao Zedong also lived in Moxi, and the existing cultural relics such as Mao Zedong's former residence and Catholic Church were well preserved.

Although the ancient town of Moxi has experienced vicissitudes, people can also see its long historical traces from its numerous ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The ancient Chinese architecture still retains that dignity, and the prayer bell of a Gothic church built by French missionaries has been echoing for a century. The blending of Chinese and western cultures has added another interest to this ancient town.

After a simple lunch, continue on the road, and you can choose to take the slide bar at the entrance of the trail to the glacier.

Tips:

There are three ways to watch glaciers:

1. Take the cableway to Camp No.4, 160/ person, round trip, enjoy the glacier on the observation deck, or go down to Youshan Road to watch the glacier waterfall at close range, but it has been closed recently.

2. Walk to the Glacier: Take the sightseeing bus from Camp No.3 or walk to the ticket office of the ropeway, then walk along the sightseeing road to the observation deck, crossing the virgin forest on the way, and the scenery is very beautiful. After arriving at the observation deck, you can go down to the bottom of the glacier and watch the glacier at close range, but it takes a long walk.

3. You can take the sliding bar on the observation deck at the walking place, and the cost ranges from 20- 100 yuan, so you need to negotiate the price yourself.

D3。 Watch Sunrise in Jinshan, then go to the hot springs and look around.
