Humanistic Chengdu

As a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2,000 years, there are as many as 2 16 cultural relics protection units at or above the municipal level in Chengdu, among which Du Fu Caotang, Wuhou Temple, Wangjianglou, Shuwangling, Yongling and Jinsha ancient Shu cultural sites are well-known at home and abroad.

● Wangjianglou

Wangjiang tower park was built in memory of Xue Tao, a poetess in the Tang Dynasty. Xue Tao loved bamboo all his life, and often inspired himself with its virtue of being "vigorous, thrifty and self-sustaining". Later generations planted bamboos all over the garden to show their respect for Xue Tao.

The worship tower is the most magnificent building in the park. The building was built in the 15th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, with a height of more than 30 meters, ***4 floors, Zhu Wa and a gold-plated roof. Because the building is located on the Jinjiang River, it is named "Wangjiang Building" and has now become a symbol of Chengdu.

● Du Fu Caotang

Du Fu's Caotang is the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet in Tang Dynasty. He lived here for more than three years and wrote more than 240 poems, many of which were about the Caotang, and "Caotang was blown by autumn wind" was praised by later generations as a swan song.

Caotang is one of the most concentrated tourist attractions in Chengdu, with its simple and elegant architecture, towering nanmu and rich cultural atmosphere.

● Wuhou Temple

Wuhou Temple is a sacred place to commemorate Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu Han Dynasty. It was built in the late Shu-Han Dynasty. When it was rebuilt in the early Ming Dynasty, Wuhou Temple was moved to the "Han Zhaolie Temple" dedicated to Liu Bei and became a temple dedicated to both monarch and minister.

It is composed of the Three Juebei Monument, Liu Beidian, Wuhou Temple, Liu Bei's Tomb and the Three Kingdoms Cultural Museum, which fully displays the Shu and Han cultures of the Three Kingdoms.

● Dujiangyan

Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, which was built in 256 BC, is the oldest and only water conservancy project in the world, and its characteristic is that there is no dam to divert water. There are many cultural relics near Dujiangyan, including Fulongguan, Erwangmiao, Anlan Suoqiao, Lei Yu, Lidui Park, Leiyushan Park and Lingyan Temple.

Dujiangyan-Qingcheng Mountain Line is a United Nations World Cultural Heritage, which consists of Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project and Qingcheng Mountain.

● Qingcheng Mountain

Qingcheng Mountain is the birthplace of Taoism. It is quiet and beautiful everywhere, with different scenery in four seasons. In A.D. 143, "Shi Tian" Zhang Ling came here to preach and wrote 24 Taoist books. Dozens of palaces and a large number of cultural relics are still well preserved.

Tip: There are long-distance buses to Dujiangyan at Ximen Station in Chengdu, and there are also 1 and 2 tourist routes launched by travel agencies.

Transportation: There are shuttle buses from Chengdu Railway Station Square and Ximen Station to Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain every day. The departure frequency is 10 minutes, and the fare is 15 yuan.

2. Qingcheng Mountain

Qingcheng Mountain, one of the cradles of Taoism in China, is known as "Qingcheng Mountain is quiet in the world", which is located at/0/5km southwest of Dujiangyan City and 65km away from Chengdu. The main attractions are Fu Jian Palace, natural landscape, Shi Tian Cave and Shangqing Palace.

Transportation: There is a daily shuttle bus from Chengdu Tourist Passenger Transport Center to Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain. The fare is 12 yuan. There is also a shuttle bus to and from Qingcheng Houshan at Ximen Station.

Admission: 60 yuan. Cableway 4 1+6 (insurance), optional cableway.

Accommodation: Hexiang Mountain Villa (three-star): Located at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain, it was built on the old site of Gudaoguan Changsheng Palace. Taoist temples such as Shangqing Palace and Shi Tian Cave in front of Qingcheng Mountain, and other scenic spots such as another village behind the mountain and Tai 'an Temple can all stay overnight, and 50 yuan can handle it.

3. Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area

Located in Xida County, Chengdu, more than 90 kilometers away from Chengdu. Miaojiling, the highest peak in the scenic spot, is 5364 meters above sea level, standing in the sky and covered with snow all year round. Du Fu, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, once looked at this scene when he lived in Chengdu Caotang, and wrote a famous sentence, "The window contains thousands of autumn snows in Xiling". The scenic spot is a national scenic spot, which integrates forests, snowy areas, alpine meteorology, dangerous peaks and rocks, exotic flowers and trees, rare birds and animals, rapids and waterfalls, etc.

Transportation: Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station has a shuttle bus to the scenic spot. There are dozens of shuttle buses to Dayi every day in Chengbei Passenger Transport Center, Qingyang Palace and Jinsha Station.

Accommodation: Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort near the scenic spot not only has good accommodation conditions, but also has a rare hot spring bath in Chengdu. Close to the scenic spot, it is the first choice for tourists. The standard room is about 120 yuan.

Admission: Qianshan 20 yuan, Houshan 30-80 yuan, transportation fee 10 yuan (round trip).

4. Yinchanggou

Dabao Township, located in the northwest of Pengzhou, is about 97 kilometers away from Chengdu, with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters and an area of about 180 square kilometers. It consists of Flame Peak, White Tiger Peak, Backlight Peak, Wuying Peak, Fairy Peak, Suzaku Peak, Perennial Peak, Tianya Peak and Dragon Peak. There are Leizu Temple, Liang Qing Temple, Haihuitang Temple Temple, Zushi Temple and other temples in the mountains. On the top of the mountain, there is Leiyin Temple built during the apocalypse of the Ming Dynasty.

Transportation: There is a shuttle bus from Chengdu Tourist Passenger Transport Center to Yinchanggou, and the fare is 17 yuan.

5. Longquan Scenic Area

Located on Longquan Mountain in the eastern suburb of Chengdu, more than 20 kilometers away from the urban area, there are scenic spots such as Huaguoshan, Baigongyan, Longquan Lake and Shijing Temple. Every spring and summer, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant, flowers and fruits are in forests, and mountains and rivers are beautiful. This is an ideal place for picnics, vacations and sightseeing. Longquan traditional peach blossom festival is held in mid-March every year.

Transportation: Wuguiqiao Bus Station has dozens of shuttle buses to Longquan every day, and the fare is around 5 yuan.

6. Huanglongxi

Located in the southeast of Shuangliu County, 47 kilometers away from Chengdu, it is an ancient historical and cultural town in Sichuan and a city-level tourist attraction. It not only has beautiful scenery and beautiful environment, but also has a typical style of the ancient town in western Sichuan, attracting many film and television crews to shoot in the ancient town. On weekends, restaurants and teahouses near the river bank in the town are all Chengdu people who come to drink tea, eat and play mahjong.

Transportation: There are shuttle buses to Huayang Town and Huanglongxi from Chengdu Tourist Passenger Transport Center and Hongpailou Station, and the fare is around 7 yuan.

7. Jiulong Gou

Located in the mountainous area of Saburo Town in the northwest of chongzhou city, it is 38km away from chongzhou city and 76km away from Chengdu, with an area of175km2, of which the sightseeing area is 32km2. Jiulonggou is named after the myth and legend of "Nine Gullies and Nine Troughs and Nine Dragons". The scenic spot mainly consists of three parts: the water-stone landscape in Jiulonggou, the primeval forest landscape in Daxi Mountain and the ancient temple, among which the dynamic water-stone landscape in Jiulonggou is the most attractive.

You can live in a farmhouse and a sanatorium in Saburo Town, where you can eat and live for more than 20 yuan a day. There are a lot of three-wheeled motorcycles there. For a few dollars, you can take four people and pack a ditch. You can also go to Tianguan Temple, Ancient Temple, Meihuazhai and Jiezi Ancient Town to play.

Jinsha station

Jinsha Station is located outside the Second Ring Road, next to Metro Supermarket. The shuttle buses here are mainly sent to Wenjiang, Xinjin, Meishan, Pixian, Longquan and other districts and counties in Chengdu.
