Historical story about Li Bai
1, the iron pestle is ground into a needle
Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, didn't like reading when he was a child. One day, while the teacher was not at home, he sneaked out to play.
He came to the river at the foot of the mountain and saw an old woman grinding an iron pestle on a stone. Li Bai was puzzled and asked, "Old woman, what are you doing grinding the iron pestle?"
The old woman said, "I am grinding the needle." Li Bai was surprised and asked, "Oh dear! As thick as a pestle, how can it be ground into a needle? " The old woman walked over and said, "As long as the pestle is always ground more and more finely every day, are you still afraid that it is not a needle?"
Li Bai, a clever man, was ashamed of himself after hearing this. He turned and ran back to the bookstore. From then on, he kept in mind the truth that "as long as kung fu is deep, the iron pestle is ground into a needle" and studied hard.
2. The boy is really a wizard. Congratulations.
When Li Bai was 5 years old, he followed his father from the Western Regions to settle in Sichuan Qinglian. By the age of 10, he was proficient in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting.
One spring, a guest came to visit Li Bai's father at the foot of Minshan Mountain. It happened that he went out and didn't come back. The guest showed disappointment on his face and turned to leave. When Li Bai saw it, he quickly grabbed the guest and said, "Uncle, you came all the way to find my father. If you are tired for a long time without rest, you will come back. This will hurt your body and mind. "
Seeing that Li Bai was polite, enthusiastic and eloquent, the guests secretly admired him and sat down one after another.
Li Bai began to get busy. He showed great respect to the guests by serving tea and handing towels. In order to make the guests not lonely, Li Bai put down the book he was reading and went to the living room to talk to the guests. He said generously, "May I have your name, so that I can tell my father?"
The guest wanted to try Li Bai's talent, so he coughed, twisted his beard with his fingers and said loudly, "My surname is' someone stole', and my name is' a bird can't see its feet when it falls on the mountain'."
Li Bai thought carefully for a while, then handed it over and replied, "I know, I know." I'll tell dad when he comes back. "
The guest asked doubtfully, "Can you explain it to me?"
Li Bai immediately replied: "Someone stole" means removing the word "stealing" from singles, so it is the word "Yu"; The word "island" means "the bird landed on the top of the mountain but couldn't see its feet". Your surname is Yu, and your name is Island! "
The guest was very moved and patted his head again and again and said, "This child is really a wizard. Congratulations! "
3, brilliant, rich in ideas
At the age of five, Li Bai recited Liu Jia, and at the age of ten, he watched hundreds of schools. According to legend, Li Bai had a strange dream when he was a teenager.
One night, Li Bai fell asleep after reading his composition. In the dream, he was still writing. Suddenly, he found a Bai Lianhua on his pen, which was dazzling. Just when he was surprised, a piece of white paper fell from the sky and landed in front of his eyes. Li Bai was so happy that he guessed that the fairy must have given him a magic pen. Thinking of this, Li Bai grabbed the wonderful pen and wrote it quickly. What he didn't want to leave on the paper was the blooming lotus.
So Li Bai picked up a bunch of lotus flowers and ran to the pond outside the house. He stood by the pool and sprinkled water on them with his hand. In an instant, a miracle appeared: after the lotus entered the water, it immediately gave birth to stems and leaves, competing to bloom. The breeze blows, the flowers sway gently, and the fragrance permeates people's hearts. Li Bai was very happy. He just wanted to reach out and touch it, but suddenly he woke up. Li Bai recalled the vivid plot in his dream and said with emotion: What a wonderful dream it is.
Strange to say, after that, Li Bai's talent really became sharper and he studied harder. He went deep into social life, traveled to the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland, created a large number of immortal poems, and finally became a talented and world-renowned poet. Up to now, many of his famous poems are still sung by Chinese and foreign readers. Later, people regarded the dream pen as a good omen of literary talent, and the idiom "dream pen gives birth to flowers" is used to describe a person who is brilliant and rich in literary thoughts.
4. Li Bai's fishing poems
It is said that Li Bai once went to the Prime Minister's office to volunteer: "Fishing for Li Bai at sea." The Prime Minister asked with a smile, "Sir, what is the hook line for fishing giant ao in Lincang?" Li Bai said, "Take the bright moon as the hook and the rainbow as the line." The prime minister asked again, "What do you use as bait?" Li Bai said loudly, "Just use the most disloyal scholar-officials in the world as bait." The prime minister's hair stood on end when he heard this.
Thousands of years later, Su Dongpo commented on Li Bai's "playing like a bosom friend and treating him like dirt". His fishing theory of turning the tide and deterring small groups brought Li Bai's chivalry, courage and high feelings to the extreme.
5. Drafting of "One Shu Fan"
Li Bai's fame grew bigger and bigger, and finally even Tang Xuanzong knew it. At the age of 42, the court issued three imperial edicts calling him to Chang 'an. After Li Bai arrived in Chang 'an, accompanied by He, he went to see Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty.

When Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty saw that Li Bai was knowledgeable and versatile, he repeatedly praised him. Suddenly, has been beside the eunuch Gao Lishi opened the cavity:
"Your majesty, Li Taibai is really talented. The credentials sent by the envoy of Tubo (an ancient minority in China) the day before yesterday, it is better to ask him to identify them. "
When he heard this, he secretly held the staff for Li Bai, thinking that the words in Tibetan credentials were like birds singing and flowers smelling, insects crawling, and no one in the court could recognize them. Tang Xuanzong has been very angry about this matter. Gao Lishi, isn't it obvious to make things difficult for Li Bai?
Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty immediately asked Li Bai if he knew Tibetan, and Li Bai unhurriedly replied:
"When I was in the Western Regions, my father did business and had some contacts with businessmen in the Western Regions, so I knew a little."
Hearing this, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty smiled and immediately asked Gao Lishi to bring the Tibetan credentials. Li Bai took it and read it quickly, then translated it fluently in Chinese. It turned out that Tubo wanted the Tang Dynasty to cede a large area of land to it, or he would send troops to attack.
Hearing this, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty put a straight face. The minister of civil and military affairs talked in succession and lost his mind for a while. Tang Xuanzong asked Li Bai what to do. Li Bai said confidently:
"I'm willing to draft an Answer to the Tubo Book, and I'll call the Tubo emissary tomorrow. I'll answer it myself, which will definitely calm this matter down."
"Then you can draft it right away!" Tang Xuanzong said.
Li Bai picked up a pen, thought for a moment and then wrote. In a short time, I gave Ansan Shu Fan to Tang Xuanzong. After reading it, Tang Xuanzong was very satisfied. Li Bai wrote another copy in Tibetan. Everyone admires Li Bai's erudition.
The next day, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty summoned the Tibetan emissary. Li Bai first read Answering a Mystery Book in Chinese, and then read Tubo. The Tubo emissary quickly promised to bring the Tubo answer to the Tubo leader. Later, Tubo didn't come to trouble.
