What is a linen room?

Linen belongs to the housekeeping department. Cotton products such as quilts, sheets, towels, etc. are generally called linen. The linen room usually refers to the room used for storing clean bedding, towels, bath towels, etc. (collectively referred to as linen) in the beauty and hairdressing industry, hotel industry, sauna and foot massage industry, karaoke and dance hall industry, swimming venues, etc.

The linen room is an abnormal behavior for guests to check in, and it also means grabbing a room. When the hotel is full, in order to get to the room, the guests move their luggage to the uncleaned room in advance and go to the front desk to request a room. Generally, hotels stipulate that guests cannot enter rooms that have not been cleaned. This phenomenon belongs to the guests, not the hotel.
