Qimen: the ancient red road

Dahong Ancient Road is located in Datan Township, Qimen County, and goes from Taiping Lake. The authentic way is to go west through Yixian county, which is a yangguan avenue. But I found a shortcut on the map-there is a small village called Yangjiadun 10 km south of Meixi Township in Yixian County. If you walk about 20 kilometers along the path (below), you can get to Datan Township, which can save half the road. Besides, how charming is this mountain? What can you see when you go in? The body has not moved, and the heart is far away.

This is Datan Township, a very small place. It seems that there are such small places everywhere in southern Anhui.

Arrived at the big beach, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon, so I had to stay. There is only one inn, and such conditions make me unbearable. As for the room rate, there is no cheapest, only cheaper. Mosquitoes plunder at night. It's no use lighting mosquito-repellent incense When I come, I will be safe. Wrapping yourself in an ultra-thin sleeping bag and carrying it with you is not only hygienic, but also anti-mosquito. My adaptability now is not generally strong, but very strong.

I have done my homework before and learned that there is a beautiful covered bridge near Datan Township, which stands quietly on the Yangtze River one mile away from Datan Township.

The interior has obviously just been repaired, and the faint covered bridge is welcoming and carrying many stories. There have been thousands of years of passing by, and there have been encounters full of sighs.

Looking out of the window, the Yangtze River flows quietly, and the sunset hangs over Datan Village.

Looking at the other window edge, the green hills are still there, and the geese fly south.

When you look back on the past, you will feel that perhaps only this bluestone road is the shortcut to ease.

I got up early the next day, and it rained lightly, but I still had to walk in the rain. Walking along the old spillway is the main task, so I can't give up easily.

Datan is 0/2km away from Bird's Nest Village at the foot of Dahong Ancient Road Mountain/kloc-0. The road conditions are not very good, they are all uphill. It rains intermittently, and when it rains heavily, I hide under the eaves of the village.

The starting point of the ancient road-Bird's Nest Village, is very small, with about a dozen families. Fortunately, the weather was awesome, and the rain stopped when we reached the Bird's Nest Village.

Passing through the village is the starting point of the ancient road, and there stands a stone tablet of the "Red Ancient Road".

This paragraph seems to have been repaired by modern people. The rain stopped and the road was shining. Compared with Raohui ancient road in Zhelin, the ancient red road looks wider, but it is not so regular and uniform.

The so-called "Dahong Ancient Road" is a part of Hui 'an Ancient Road, and it is an important passage and trade ancient road from Huizhou to Anqing in ancient times. From Shexian along Huifu Ancient Road to Qimen County, from the north of Qimen County, through Xu Ling and Datan, to the northwest, through Langya and Dahongling to Lei Hu, into Shidai County, and then through Daokou, Qili and Fantan, along the north of Hongling River, into Guichi County ... The whole journey is 2 10 km.

Of all the ancient roads, the Dahongling ancient road is the most difficult to walk, and of course it will be the most primitive, tasteful and most suitable outdoor route.

At the other end of the Dahong Ancient Road is Lei Hu Township. After climbing the ancient road, it is too far to take the car around the road, so you can only choose to carry the car over the mountains and mountains. Think about it, holding a camera in one hand, carrying a 20 kg backpack, carrying it for a while, pushing it for a while, and paying attention to the fact that your feet don't slip, and you are thirsty and sweaty. There is another feature of this ancient road. Every year around Tomb-Sweeping Day, you can see a large area of azaleas on both sides of the road. I have seen many photos, all the way through the ancient road, full of flowers, tired and romantic.

Looking back at Bird's Nest Village, it is foggy, so I know why it is called Bird's Nest Village.

The ceiling of the pavilion on the road completely collapsed, leaving only four walls. There are several similar dilapidated pavilions, but they are not as perfect as the "Tongchun Pavilion" on Raohui Ancient Road.

The higher you go, the flatter the road. How far is it to complete this ancient road? The local villagers have a saying of "seven ups and eight downs", that is, fifteen miles. They may be tired and feel more than one.

I saw a more exquisite stone pavilion made of stone. It is said that when the ancient road flourished, people equivalent to "national tax" institutions collected taxes or exchanged goods here.

The stone door frame of the ancient pavilion is exquisite in workmanship.

I remember when I came, I rode my bike to a village near Meixi Township, Yixian County, and wanted to borrow tap water from villagers' homes to wash my hands and eat something. The daughter-in-law of this family asked me where to go. Meixi has a good scenery, and cyclists are not uncommon. She is used to people in this costume. I said to climb the mountain in Qimen. She said with a smile, you people are so elegant. I recognized her meaning, so I said, "I'm not happy, I'm full." She smiled and said, "Yes, that's what my father-in-law said about you."

I often chat with villagers on the road, and then smile at each other, tired.

This is a set of stone tablets. After the restoration of the ancient road in the Qing Dynasty, a stone pavilion was built in Lingtou, which has a unique style. It consists of eight stone tablets about two meters wide and three meters deep at both ends. It consists of four stone tablets, which are fixed up and down with stone strips. The branches of trees and broken stones are covered with moss, showing the vicissitudes of time.

The inscription describes the dangers of the Dahong ancient road and the history of developing Dahongling, and points out that reclamation of mountain forests causes soil erosion and harms the road. It is accompanied by the names, offices and numbers of a large number of donors, which truly records this history and has high historical value.

This is the top of Dahongling Mountain. If you turn left along the front stone steps, you can reach Wangjiang point at an altitude of 1 126 meters. It is said that you can see the Yangtze River from Wangjiang point, but I chose the ancient road on the right side of the stone steps to go down the mountain.

Finally, you can see the northern slope of the ancient road, which is close to 800 meters above sea level. The southern margin of Dahongling is the positive source of Zhuozhang River, the northern margin is the positive source of Qiupu River, and Dahongling is the watershed. Looking at the endless mountains and rivers, I feel that I am sometimes great and out of control.

The ancient road is well restored, and the north slope belongs to Lei Hu Township, Qimen County, and has not been developed for the time being. The road is overgrown with weeds and almost covers the road surface, which is seriously damaged. I'm afraid to walk on the snake. I can't go back. I like to go into darkness in one way.

At the foot of the mountain, the traces of human activities are becoming more and more obvious. For example, you can see tea nests and cow dung on the road. Several abandoned villages, such as Niulanji, Maocaopeng and Yakeng, have been moved to Wuliguai Village as a whole due to frequent mudslides. I didn't meet anyone on the ancient road this time.
