Qingkou is far away from Fuzhou, which is not closely related to the urban economy and cannot drive the development of the surrounding economy. Moreover, at present, Fuzhou is actively developing urban planning, and there is no relevant policy to classify it into Qingkou.

Qingkou Town, under the jurisdiction of Minhou County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is located at the southeast end of Minhou County, bordering Yutian Town, Changle City in the east, Yang Xia Street, Fuqing City in the south, Nantong Town in the west and Xiang Qian and Shanggan Town in the north.
