Scabies likes to invade the soft parts of the skin, so the most common areas for scabies are between the fingers, elbow fossae, armpits, flexors of the four legs, lower abdomen, buttocks, inner thighs and genitals. It is scattered small papules and blisters of hair follicles. Sometimes, small, sinuous, off-white or light gray dots, several millimeters long, can be found between the fingers, under the breasts, and on the pubic area, forming dotted lines. Use a needle to prick the top, and you can see the remains of the female scabies. The disease is characterized by severe itching, which is aggravated by warm weather at night. After scratching, there will be epidermis peeling off, bloody scabs, skin changes like leather, eczema-like changes (hypertrophy), or abscesses, folliculitis, boils, etc. due to secondary infection. Some stubborn people will still have hard nodules that are very itchy after the rash disappears, which is called nodular scabies.
