There are a lot of taxis in Xiamen. The starting price of taxis is 8 yuan (3km). After that, every 2 yuan a kilometer, there is usually a sign not far from the bus shelter: temporary boarding and alighting points for taxis and minibuses. In front of big shopping malls, shops or shopping centers, there will be a special taxi pick-up area, which is lined up like an airport, and the order is very good.

Rent a car

There are two ways. You can rent a car or a bike.

Bicycle rental is mainly concentrated on the road around the island, and the deposit is 300 ~ 500 yuan. There will be a stop on the road around the island by bike to collect 5 yuan tolls, and the ticket stub should be kept. There will be a ticket inspection, but there is no charge for walking.

Tongan Confucius Temple is located on the west bank of Dongxi, Tongan District. It was built in the Five Dynasties. The existing building is the Dacheng Hall rebuilt during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Today, Confucius Temple has become a museum in Tong 'an District, displaying historical sites and cultural relics in Tong 'an since the Western Han Dynasty. On the ruins on the north side of the temple, there are more than 200 stone carvings and inscriptions collected from all over the region, with different expressions and realistic shapes, which are called "Tongan Terracotta Warriors".
