What can you do with 5,000 yuan in Mongolia?

When it comes to traveling abroad, many friends will choose countries in Southeast Asia.

After all, these countries are relatively close to my country and have many tourism features.

But for me personally, it was my first time traveling abroad to Mongolia.

The main reason why I want to go to Mongolia is because Mongolia has many historical connections with my country.

But in fact, I don’t know much about the life of the Mongolian people. Of course, I also want to see it and appreciate the different customs.

Before going to Mongolia, I also made a guide in advance like many friends, and also hired a local tour guide in Mongolia, so I directly consulted him: If I go to Mongolia with 5,000 yuan, What can be done?

I have to say that the answer given to me by this beautiful local Mongolian tour guide surprised me because I really didn’t believe it.

After arriving in Mongolia, the first thing to consider is the accommodation environment. I have to say that there are not many decent hotels in Mongolia. Overall, they are similar to third- and fourth-tier cities in my country.

At that time, it cost 250 yuan to stay in an ordinary hotel for one night in Ulaanbaatar. If you stayed in a five-star hotel, the price might be higher.

Since I had limited funds, I didn’t pay too much attention to accommodation issues.

In fact, once, I stayed in a yurt under the introduction of a tour guide.

I have to say that the yurt is really unique, such as horse riding, archery and other entertainment projects.

But a simple yurt costs 280 yuan. If it is better, the price will definitely be higher. Generally, it costs more than 700 yuan to stay one night.

I believe many friends know that Mongolia’s livestock industry is very developed, but local beef and mutton are expensive.

For example, when we went to a restaurant to eat, we ordered a roast leg of lamb for more than 300 yuan. Together with other snacks, Qiqibaba cost 450 yuan in the final settlement.

Overall, if you travel in Mongolia and bring 5,000 yuan with you, you will only be able to stay for about a week at most, and you have to live frugally.

Although its development is not particularly good, the price level is really high.

Only at this moment did I understand the true meaning of the words of the beautiful local Mongolian tour guide.
