Zhenbeibao Film and Television City
is located in Zhenbeibao Town, Xixia District, Yinchuan City, with two castles, one in the south and one in the north, both facing east. The old fort adjacent to the east side of the mountain road has been completely eroded by wind, and it passes through the loess road in the city to the north, which is the ruins of the old castle wengcheng. New castle is 2 meters further north. The city of new castle is relatively complete, and the walls are rammed with loess, with a height of more than 1 meters. Zhenbeibao Film and Television City is characterized by simplicity, primitive, rough, desolate and folk among many film and television cities in China. It is one of the three major film and television cities in China and the only famous film and television city in western China. Huaxia Western Film and Television City has gradually developed a purely sightseeing tourist spot into an entertainment tourist area with both sightseeing value and diversified services such as making films, catering, shopping, pottery, riding and shooting for tourists.
Shahu
Shahu Tourist Area is located in Xidatan, Pingluo County, 56 kilometers northwest of Yinchuan City. It is the first batch of 5A scenic spots in China and one of the 35 ace scenic spots in China. Shahu Lake has 1, mu of water, 5, mu of sand dunes, 2, mu of reeds and 1, mu of lotus ponds, and is rich in fish and birds. There are more than a dozen kinds of rare birds, such as cranes, Hei He and swans. With the natural landscape as the main body, it is an eco-tourism scenic spot that integrates the water town in the south of the Yangtze River and the desert scenery. "Sands, clear water, green reeds, birds, fish, distant mountains and colorful lotus" are organically combined to form a unique and beautiful landscape.
Xixia Mausoleum
Xixia Mausoleum is located at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, about 3 kilometers west of Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the royal mausoleum of Xixia Dynasty and one of the largest imperial cemeteries with the most complete ground ruins in China. Known as "mysterious miracle" and "Oriental pyramid" by the world. Xixia Mausoleum is grand in scale and well-laid. Each Mausoleum is an independent and complete architectural group, sitting north to south, in a vertical rectangle, with the same scale as the Ming Tombs. At present, there are two scenic spots that can be visited: Haowangling and Shuangling.
Helan Mountain
Helan Mountain is located at the junction of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a majestic mountain. Famous for Yue Fei's "Man Jiang Hong". The main scenic spots of Helan Mountain include rock paintings of Helan Mountain, Rolling Bell Mouth, Sanguankou, Baisikou and Suyukou National Forest Park, and viewing He Lanxue is also a major feature of Helan Mountain tourism. Looking from Yinchuan to the west, Helan Mountain stands tall, with mountains and peaks, stretching and undulating, spanning between desert and oasis. Helan Mountain, located at the junction of Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, is the western barrier of Ningxia Plain, with the highest peak of 3,556 meters and an average elevation of more than 2, meters. It is majestic and lush with trees. In the middle of Helan Mountain between Yinchuan Plain and Inner Mongolia Grassland, there is also Helan Mountain Nature Reserve.
Shuidonggou
The history of Ningxia begins with Shuidonggou, which is the most intact three-dimensional military defense system of the Great Wall of China, and the earliest Paleolithic cultural site excavated in China. It is known as "the birthplace of prehistoric archaeology in China" and "the historical witness of cultural exchange between China and the West". It is listed by the state as one of the 1 major sites under national cultural relics protection and one of the "1 archaeological discoveries with the greatest significance of Chinese civilization". Shuidonggou site records the historical witness of ancient human beings' reproduction and struggle with nature, and contains rich and precious prehistoric materials.
