Papaya stewed with bird's nest

Ingredients: One papaya, 20g bird's nest, 4 red dates, 3 ginkgo, and appropriate amount of rock sugar.

Method:

1. Soak the bird's nest in water (use 300 ml of pure water for about 10 grams, if not, soak it for two or three days, soak it in advance); Change the water (every four to five hours); after the bird's nest is soaked, pick out the hair inside; then put the bird's nest in the pot and stew it with a stew pot or bowl separated by water.

2. Add two tablespoons of water to the pot, add rock sugar, red dates and ginkgo, stir with a spoon to dissolve the rock sugar.

3. Cut off the middle part of the papaya to make a lid so that the whole papaya looks like a boat; then remove the seeds.

4. Put the bird's nest, red dates and ginkgo into the papaya, add the newly boiled sugar water (don't put too much sugar water), and cover the papaya.

5. Place the papaya on a heat-resistant plate, put it in a steamer and steam it for 10 minutes (you can also put it in a basket or steamer for 15 minutes) and you're done.
