CitizenM Hotel is a new Dutch hotel group. "CitizenM" hotel in Shore District is the fourth hotel under the group, aiming to provide travelers with world-class luxurious and comfortable hotel experience in the central city. Its design concept is to eliminate all hidden costs and remove all redundancies, providing travelers with luxurious but affordable supreme enjoyment. Each hotel room area is 14 square meters, with 192 room. The design of the rooms are all assembled and shipped from the factory. These rooms are concentrated on the first floor of the hotel, with functional areas such as dynamic lobby, living room and food and beverage area, including a fair and affordable cafe. Seven "reimagined" spaces are located on the second floor, operating under the name "M Tribe" and used as office and meeting areas for CitizenM Group employees. The hotel design follows the business philosophy that CitizenM Group has always adhered to, that is, "a comfortable bed and a simple and clean bedroom are essential for our home travels." Design Features This hotel is located on the south bank of the River Thames in Southwark, London. Due to its location at the intersection of Lavington Street and Southwark Street, the hotel is only a short walk from the south entrance of Tate Modern. Southwark is an emerging urban area where various art galleries, boutiques and restaurants are lined up and bustling. The hotel itself consists of two 6-story buildings connected by a built-in patio. Like the building itself, its spatial decoration seeks a connection with its industrial predecessor by drawing on its solid exterior and concrete image.
