How to cook steamed eel with dried plum vegetables?

Materials to be prepared in advance include: one eel, 4-5 slices of salted ham (or bacon), appropriate amount of dried plum, a few slices of ginger, appropriate amount of cooking wine and salt.

Specific steps:

1. Cut the washed eel into sections with scissors (as shown in the figure), but don't cut it completely.

2. Marinate with cooking wine, salt and ginger for 30 minutes.

3. Soak a proper amount of dried plums in water to prevent them from being too salty and dry.

4. Sprinkle dried plums on the fish, pour the soaked water on the fish, and then slice the bacon.
