Must-see attractions in Xining's travel strategy

The tourist attractions in Xining include Ta 'er Temple, Xining Wildlife Park, Heiquan Reservoir, Xining People's Park and Laoye Mountain.

Ta 'er Temple 1

Ta 'er Monastery, together with ganden, Zhebang, Sera Monastery, Tashilhunpo Monastery in Tibet and Labrang Monastery in Gannan, is known as the six monasteries of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in China, and is the birthplace of Zongcheba, the founder of Gelug Sect. With its large scale and convenient transportation, the temple has become the most concentrated place for people to visit Tibetan Buddhist temples and the most important tourist attraction in Qinghai Province.

2. Xining Wildlife Park

Xining Wildlife Park, also known as the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Park, is the only large-scale comprehensive wildlife park with the highest altitude in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is a national AAAA scenic spot and a national popular science education base integrating wildlife viewing, protection, scientific research, breeding and popular science education.

3. Heiquan Reservoir

Heiquan Reservoir is located next to National Highway 227 in Baoku Township, Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Qinghai Province, and is the water source of Xining people's city. The scenery around the reservoir is pleasant, with mysterious sunset red and natural water erosion Maitreya Buddha statue, which is one of the scenic spots in the northern line of Qinghai tourism. Beyond Dabanshan is Menyuan County, Bailihua Township.

4. Xining People's Park

Xining People's Park is the largest public amusement park in Xining, located on the south bank of the intersection of Huang Shuihe and Beichuan River in the west of the city. The park was founded in 1959 and has been expanded several times. Now it covers an area of more than 40 hectares. The main amusement facilities include flower area, artificial lake, children's amusement area, animal viewing area and art exhibition hall. Xining People's Park was built in 1959, located on the south bank of the intersection of Huang Shuihe and Beichuan River in the west of the city.

5. Laoyeshan

Laoye Mountain, also known as Yuanshuo Mountain and North Wudang Mountain, is 30 kilometers away from Xining City. Because there is Taiyuan Palace (Guan Gong Temple) on the peak, the statues in the temple are related, so it is named Laoye Mountain. Located on the Sumulian River (Beichuan River) in Qiaotou Town, Datong County, 35 kilometers north of Xining, the top of the mountain is 2928 meters above sea level, with a relative height difference of nearly 500 meters. It is the most magnificent and beautiful mountain near Xining.
