Movies. Light of the White Pagoda is a feature film written and directed by Xin, Huang Yao and Tian Zhuangzhuang. The film was released at the Berlin Film Festival on February 8, 2023. The film Light of the White Pagoda tells the story of a middle-aged man who lives alone and meets a young photographer Ouyang at work. By chance, Gu learned the whereabouts of his father who had lost contact for more than 40 years. With Ouyang's encouragement, Gu chose to face his father and regain the long-lost affection between father and son.
