Tengchong "Tuofeng Airport"

1: Tengchong

The westernmost part of Yunnan has a border with Myanmar that stretches for hundreds of kilometers.

Atami, volcanoes, wetlands, hometown of overseas Chinese, Tengchong is the place of pure youth.

[Transportation]

There is a direct sleeper bus from Kunming to Tengchong, 770km. There are n passenger stations to choose from near Kunming Station, and you can discuss the prices with the driver. Take the evening bus and arrive the next day.

Two routes to choose from:

A. Kunming-Baoshan-Tengchong, direct

B. Recommendation: Enter via Gaoligong Mountain

Kunming-Baoshan (14 hours, around 110)

In the morning, take the bus to Gangdang (18), walk or take a ride 11km to the Baihualing Reserve Management Office. It’s a winding mountain road, so be mentally prepared. Live in the management office. The next day, I hired a guide (50) to walk along the Shushendu Road and climbed over the mountain pass of Nanzhai Gongfang, which cost more than 3,000 yuan in one day. Then I said goodbye to the guide and went down the mountain on my own. Follow the most obvious road and stay overnight at Linjiapu Forest Protection Point, or walk another 2 or 3 hours to Jiangju Ancient Town. Staying at Linjiapu, forest ranger Yang San provides food and accommodation. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the sea of ??clouds in pp. The clouds and mist all the way to Jiangju are beautiful. The next morning we took a bus in Jiangju, passed by Qushi, and reached Tengchong at noon.

Beihai Wetland

Lai Fengshan is a quiet place.

Transportation:

It is 4km away from Tengchong County, by bus (1) or taxi (10). Tickets for entering the gate can be given or not (10)

Attractions:

Heshun Library (the largest rural library in China, with a complete collection of old magazines, etc., the building is very pp, from the side You may be able to evade the fare if you enter the Wenchang Palace)

Ai Siqi's former residence (Chairman Mao's philosophical advisor, a wealthy family, a well-designed pp house, students are free of charge)

Wenchang Palace, Washing Pavilion

Accommodation:

We lived in Shunli Chaoyang Building, the standard room was only 30, it was a big room. Pushing open the door is Laifengshan and the artificial lake. (It may cost hundreds in peak season, so call to inquire first)

Volcano Park

It always feels like a waste. Just see something new. Tickets are 20, half price 10. expensive.

Transportation: Take a bus from Tengchong City to Mazhan Township (you can also go there in person, the price is the same). On your way back, just catch the shuttle bus at the intersection.

Attractions: There are three extinct volcanoes connected together, Dakong Mountain, Xiaokong Mountain and Heikong Mountain. The open scenic spot is Dakong Mountain. Climb 598 steps, and the bottom of the crater is 50m deep. In fact, you can evade the fare by entering from Heikong Mountain next to it. I was in a hurry and didn't try it. I like the mountain shape of Heikong Mountain:)

The Columnar Joints and the Black Fish River: attractions that can only be given up if you don’t have a self-driving car. Be more open-minded, Hehe.

Atami

Comfortable hot springs: Tickets are 30, no half price.

Transportation: Baomian (25-30), 10.5km away from Tengchong County.

Attractions: Drumming Spring, Pearl Spring, Pregnancy Well, Big Rolling Pot, Spectacle Spring, Beauty Pool, Toad Mouth, Bathhouse River.

Recommendation: Geothermal steamed eggs, cornmeal, and peanuts are sold in front of the big boiling pot, and you can experience the "Eighteen Yunnan Monsters, eggs are sold on skewers"

Yunfeng Mountain
