The tourist area is located in Lushan County, Henan Province, China, with a planned area of 13.40 square kilometers. It is the only provincial tourism planning evaluation unit in Henan Province, with the best volcanic hot spring belt in China.

The cultural area is mainly composed of thousands of ancient temples such as Foquan Temple, Wish Platform, Chaofo Avenue, Ritual Platform, the world's largest Buddha, Lushan Buddha in the Central Plains, the world's largest bronze bell, Tian Ruizhong, Bell Tower, and other supporting facilities.

The Central Plains Giant Buddha is located in the Foquan Temple in Yaoshan, Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, and is the "highest Buddha statue in the world". The total height of the Giant Buddha is 208 meters, with a height of 108 meters, a lotus pedestal of 20 meters, a diamond pedestal of 25 meters and a sumeru pedestal of 55 meters. The Buddha's eye is 1.9 m high, 3.9 m wide, and the bergamot is 19 m high, 9 m wide and 5 m thick.

The whole Buddha statue is made of 3300 tons of copper, 108 kilograms of gold and 15000 tons of special steel, with a surface area of 1 1300 square meters. It is welded by 13300 copper plates. The net weight of Tian Rui Auspicious Admiralty in the scenic spot is 1 16 tons, which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as "the world's largest external impact bronze bell".
