Scenic spots and historical sites in Yuexiu District

Yuexiu District is basically the old city of Guangzhou, so many historical relics and places of interest in Guangzhou are gathered in the district. According to the statistics at the end of 1997, there are 5 state-level cultural relics protection units (7 units) in Yuexiu District: Guangxiao Temple, Huaishengguang Pagoda, Sacred Heart Hall, the former site of Guangzhou Commune and Qin Shipyard, zhenhai tower (Guangzhou Museum), the first floor of Wuxian Temple and Lingnan, the ancient city wall of Ming Dynasty, the former site of March 29th Uprising Command and the monument of Zhongshan Memorial Hall. 22 at the municipal level; Yue Wangjing, Sanyuan Palace, Big Buddha Temple, Pan Hao Mosque, City God Temple, Shaowu Junchen Tomb, General Wang Xing Cemetery, Lujiang Academy (Hejiaci), Seamen Pavilion, Guangfu Memorial Pavilion, the former office of Whampoa Military Academy, Guangdong Provincial Finance Department Building, Yong 'antang, Aiqun Hotel, East Asia Hotel, Central Bank Building, and the former site of the People's Liberation Army (municipal government office building). It was founded by Sun Yat-sen himself on August 15, 13th year of the Republic of China (1924). The central bank is directly under the leadership of the Ministry of Finance, and its branches have successively set up three exchange and issuance offices in Guangzhou, with a branch in Guangdong Province of 1 1.

From 65438 to 0993, Guangzhou Municipal Government announced it as a municipal cultural relics protection unit, and in July 2002, Guangdong Provincial Government announced it as a provincial cultural relics protection unit.
