This is a Cinderella-like dream love story in modern new york society.

Marisa Ventura, played by jennifer lopez, is a smart and unrestrained single mother who lives in the Bronx with her son Ty Ventura (played by tyler posey). Marisa is a waitress in the most luxurious hotel in Manhattan. She dreams of a better life all day, of course, by her own efforts.

Christopher Hall (Ralph Fiennes) is handsome and gentle, and is the most promising and famous figure in American politics. Christopher came to new york for a week-long activity, including a party with big shots. He happened to stay at the hotel where Marisa worked. After they met, Christopher mistakenly thought she was a lady of high society and fell in love. Marisa soon found herself deeply involved in the life of this man, who would have looked at herself coldly. When all the truth came out and her true identity was revealed, the two discovered that their lives were so mismatched. Will this fairy tale have an end?
