Qu's Nine Curves and Eighteen Bends of the Yellow River

Qu has been engaged in hotel management for more than 20 years and won numerous awards. His life experience is full of hardships, legends and successes. For the dream in his heart, he turned his dream into reality step by step with the Yellow River belief and the spirit of "hardship, tenacity and hard work".

"Under the influence of Shanxi merchant culture, in fact, every Shanxi person has a sense of doing business from a very young age. My conception of the Yellow River blueprint began at 1986. At that time, the Yellow River Building in Yuncheng was under construction, and the hotel industry in China had just started. I knew nothing about hotel management at that time. When I led my staff to study in a three-star hotel in Tang Cheng, Xi, I made up my mind to create and manage a three-star hotel of my own. "

At the beginning of 1992, with the smooth operation of Yuncheng Huanghe Tower, Qu was appointed as the director of Yuncheng Beijing Office. At that time, the first task was to go to Beijing to build the Yellow River Hotel. The selected address is a closed factory in Chongwen District, Beijing. Building a two-star hotel requires an investment of160,000 yuan, and the government only gave it 5 million yuan. Faced with the shortage of funds and many difficulties in the unknown environment, 47-year-old Qu resolutely left his hometown and set foot in Beijing to start a hard business. Due to the tight time, after arriving in Beijing, Qu tried his best to find a bank loan while grasping the decoration. In the end, everything paid off. The Yellow River Hotel was successfully opened in Beijing, and Yuncheng people had their own home in Beijing for the first time. However, after operating the hotel for more than two years, it was suddenly reported that the Qianmen area where the hotel was located was to be rebuilt, and the hotel was located within the scope of demolition. This made Qu, who had just breathed a sigh of relief, start running around again. He moved all over the capital and finally found a four-story factory building. However, it is such a broken factory that the asking price is as high as 34 million! Qu Xiaoqi, who has a dream, gritted her teeth and immediately stated: "As long as you agree to let me do it, I will find a way to solve the funds myself!" In this way, he started a new round of running around. Five months later, under the pressure of funds and project progress, Qu fell ill and was sent to the hospital for a major operation. However, when he was just a little sick, Qu had his stretcher carried to the construction site to direct the construction. "I can't afford it. Once I stop working, I will give up all my efforts before the meeting ..." In this way,1March 1996, a three-star hotel with a total investment of 89 million finally officially opened, which is the Beijing Yellow River Kyoto Hotel. After ten years of hard work, Qu completed his first dream, owned a three-star hotel of his own, and composed a series of overtures to the Yellow River.

Followed by 1999, the hotel became a joint-stock private enterprise after the restructuring, and the Yellow River Kyoto Hotel Management (Investment) Group was formally established. In 2000, the Yellow River Xiaolong Hotel was opened in Dashilan West Street, Xuanwu District. In September, 2004, Jinyang Family Tourism Resort, located in Rainbow Trout Ditch in Huairou Scenic Area, opened. A month later, the "Beijing Yellow River Style Travel Agency" invested by hotel staff was established. In everyone's surprised eyes, a Shanxi native finally opened up a sky of his own in the vast city of Beijing.

It's another year of 10. In 2005, Qu, who is over 60 years old, returned to his hometown near the Yellow River with a deep nostalgia and a grateful heart, and invested tens of millions of yuan to establish a four-star hotel in Shanxi-Shanxi Yellow River Kyoto Hotel, which completed his dream of leaping from a two-star hotel to a four-star hotel and injected a new chapter into his grand dream of the Yellow River series.
