What brand of anti-mite bedding is good?

If you want to be comfortable and dense, Kang Ningmin, everything is fine except expensive. More than 2000 yuan

Want good density, moderate price, Paredin, good density, a little uncomfortable.

Want to be cheap, cost-effective, sensitive and healthy, as long as five or six hundred, cost-effective.

Anti-mite bedding is very expensive, at least for the working class, and all the people who buy anti-mite bedding are just-needed families with dust mite allergy at home. High expectations and high prices make it difficult to choose.

Summarize some basic principles of choosing anti-mite bedding, and the methods of distinguishing the quality of anti-mite bedding.

Basic principles:

1, effect first principle

(I bought it to prevent allergies. This is the initial intention of buying it. Buy anti-mite bedding, or don't forget your initial intention. What if the effect is poor, the money is wasted, and the comfort is good?

As far as the professional anti-mite bedding on the market is concerned, there are not many products with very good comfort and anti-mite efficiency. One or two brands are ok, but the price is also 2000.

There is only one index to measure the effect of anti-mite bedding: density.

The number of live mites is between 100-500 microns, and the fine dust particles formed by dead feces produced by dust mites are the strongest allergens. Most of these particles are between 10-50 microns, so the anti-mite effect depends on how many tiny particles the anti-mite fabric can isolate. Instead of isolating mites.

Therefore, the gap of 10 micron is a zero boundary point, and the best effect of anti-mite fabric can be achieved if it is larger than 10 micron. The bigger the gap, the more allergens penetrate. The bigger the gap, the worse the effect.

Is the anti-mite bedding with a gap of 30 microns effective? In addition, it can isolate live mites and some particles larger than 30 microns. It's just that isolating 95% allergens is not the same as isolating 60% allergens.

There are two indicators to measure comfort: fabric breathability and fabric skin-friendliness (touch)

First of all, air permeability is indeed inversely proportional to fabric density. The higher the density, the smaller the gap, and the less air can pass through. However, as long as it is not a waterproof fabric with a layer of tpu plastic film underneath, there is not much problem with breathability.

Some businesses can easily see the light holes with naked eyes, and then advertise that they should leave air holes, considering comfort. This explanation looks good, but it can't stand scrutiny.

The anti-fog PM2.5 mask can filter 2.5 microns of smog, and the gap is less than 2.5 microns. Masks can still make people breathe normally, so even if the gap of the fabric can be less than 2.5 microns, they can still breathe, which will not have much impact on the breathability of bedding.

So as long as it is not the kind of fabric covered with towel cloth and plastic film, there will be no big problems in breathability and comfort.

The rest of the comfort assessment index is the touch of fabrics, and there are indeed some differences between brands. Mainly determined by the process.

In this respect, woven cotton fabrics are definitely better than non-woven fabrics. But it won't make much difference.

Fabric density:

1、? Nonwovens can achieve densities below 2.5 microns. And the application in the field of filtration.

2、? Pure cotton woven fabric is the best at present, and the gap is about 10 micron.

Paredin palladium anti-mite material, represented by German technology, is a non-woven fabric, which is formed by spraying multiple layers of superfine fibers on a base fabric. It looks like a cocoon structure. The advantages are that the density can be very good and the fabric structure is stable, but the process is difficult to control, and the fabric with poor control will be uneven in thickness. The yield is relatively low, and the production equipment is expensive and the energy consumption is high, resulting in high cost. Generally, it is more than110g per square meter, and the pores are basically invisible to the naked eye. The fabric gap can be less than 2.5 microns, and the fabric can be used as an anti-fog mask. Filter screen of high-grade air purification equipment, filter equipment for some purposes, etc. The surface is relatively thick. The softness can be close to that of cotton cloth.

Different from German fabrics, it is almost impossible for warp-knitted and weft-knitted fabrics (that is, our common fabric weaving methods) to reach the gap below 2.5 microns. The most advanced cotton textile anti-mite fabric can achieve a gap of about 10 micron. If it is a woven fabric, it is said that the gap is only a few tenths of a micron, which should be a virtual standard. Interleave one millimeter braided 10 yarns, each with a diameter of 100 micron. It is impossible that there is only a gap below 1 micron, which is intertwined horizontally and vertically. So you can't listen to the one-sided words of the merchants. At present, Kangminning, which has the best density of anti-mite bedding, uses 80 yarns (yarn diameter is about 100 micron) and weaves 9.5 yarns in one millimeter, and the gap can only be about 100 micron. This is because it is the best density woven anti-mite fabric available at present. However, the knitting density of Kangminning fabric is about 235 in the horizontal direction * about 195 in the vertical direction. This is 80 thick yarn, which basically reaches the ultimate density.

Here also need to explain the concept of "branch":

How many pieces of fabric are often used to indicate their own materials, such as 40 pieces of ordinary home textiles, 60 pieces of mid-range textiles, 80 pieces of high-grade textiles, 120 pieces, and the highest is 160 pieces. Most people think that 80 counts is the fabric density, which is actually wrong. Count refers to the thickness and diameter of the yarn used for textile.

30 count feels like old coarse cloth, which is thicker, because the yarn diameter is larger, and the larger the count, the thinner the yarn.

Diameter of 30 pieces > 60 pieces > 80 pieces > 120 pieces > 160 pieces.

The measured value of density is 133*76 or 133* 100. The same 80 yarns are very sparse when made of 133*76, and the density is very high when made of 235* 195.

If 160 yarn is used as 235* 195, it will become very sparse, because the 235 yarn of 80 yarn is squeezed into 1 inch (2.54 cm), which is already very tight, but the 235 yarn of 160 yarn is still loose when woven into an inch. For yarns with the same thickness, the more yarns are squeezed in, the better the density.

Can 160 fabric achieve better count and density?

That's not true. 160 yarn is too thin. If directly woven into 470*390 count fabric, it will be very thin and brittle. Therefore, for fabrics with a count of 160, two pieces of gauze with a count of 160 are usually twisted into one strand, commonly known as two-ply yarn. Then weave, in fact, the diameter may be a little thicker than 80. 80 pieces are fabrics with compromised thickness and density.

As shown in the figure: the same number of yarns and the same area. The more yarns are woven, the smaller the gap is.

Therefore, to buy anti-mite bedding with woven anti-mite fabric, please read the surface seconds marked clearly, and the density is X. If it is not marked, please consult customer service. At least it should be above 140* 120.

You don't have to have advanced machines to make high-density fabrics. The key is to control the quality of cotton yarn and screen first-class long-staple cotton fiber and worsted yarn from the source. Then, when weaving on the machine, it is necessary to control the water content of the yarn. If the air humidity is high, the yarn moisture content is high, and the yarn absorbs water and expands, only 6 yarns can be woven per millimeter. The density will drop greatly. How to reduce the air humidity in the whole workshop and dry the yarn? This may only be known by manufacturers to solve this problem. It can be said that the research and development of this kind of fabric needs to start with cotton raw materials and control the whole industrial chain. Then the research and development stage is repeated trial production in small batches, and every link has to be repeatedly proofed, and the cost will naturally go up.

I have been engaged in the textile industry for many years and have been paying attention to the development of mite prevention. I didn't enter this industry because it was too small, and the awareness of anti-mite bedding in China was very low. Until now, allergic cough is still widely used in many lower-level hospitals to treat colds, and many grass-roots doctors have no concept of dust mites, let alone mite-proof bedding. The sales of major domestic e-commerce platforms will not add up to more than 5,000 sets a year. Most air defense mites buy anti-mite vacuum cleaners or anti-mite pesticides. For people who are really allergic, it can't solve the problem well.

Therefore, domestic manufacturers basically buy foreign fabrics and then process them at home, which leads to high cost, high price and unfriendly.

I must invest more in equipment and research and development. If I can't afford it, the cost will be more expensive than imports. Not a good deal.

The research of anti-mite fabrics costs a lot of money, and it is difficult to sell for a long time with low returns.

The imported pure cotton anti-fullness fabric that can be bought in China before has the best density. The density is about 160* 135, and the protection level is about 30 microns. Although expensive, it is worth buying. Kangminning fabric achieves 235* 195, and its density has increased a lot. The price is slightly lower than that of Shengyang, and the cost performance of high-end anti-mite bedding is still high.

The fabrics woven by traditional warp and weft are generally more comfortable and better than ordinary home textiles.

Therefore, even if you are not allergic, buying a cotton anti-mite bedding is better than many high-end home textiles in terms of comfort.

How to choose anti-mite bedding that suits you?

The starting point of buying mite-proof bedding is different from buying ordinary home textile four-piece sets. Ordinary home textiles like their own colors, pleasing to the eye and comfortable fabrics.

And the purchase of anti-mite bedding, mostly family allergies to prevent allergic diseases, just like buying medicine, the effect should be guaranteed.

In fact, there is a very simple way to find out whether the anti-mite bedding you bought is good or not. That is, after receiving it, turn on the flashlight function of the mobile phone, or look at the lights at home to see the light transmission of the fabric. It can be completely distinguished with the naked eye. If the light hole is obvious and the gap is not small, then the gap should be around 100 micron. If it looks a little light, the gap is about 30-50 microns, and the fabric with the gap below 10 micron can hardly see the light hole.

To sum up: look at density, look at density, look at density.

Where to buy it?

Anti-mite bedding is too few, too few people are needed, and the price is high, so it is difficult to sell it on the street or in shopping malls. Generally, it is most convenient to buy it online. Taobao, JD.COM and Tmall all have them.

There is no need to be superstitious about Tmall and JD.COM. Two years ago, when the threshold for cats was low, small brands could enter. Now Tmall requires trademark registration for two years, and then requires the number of offline stores, and the brand is influential offline. The quota is limited. Manufacturers with such sales volume as anti-mite can hardly get in. Therefore, it is normal for many anti-mite bedding products not to enter Tmall.

Therefore, most manufacturers can only choose Taobao to open stores at first, but in fact, the products are not bad. The advantage of Tmall is that there are many people watching, buying and selling well. Whether the product is good or not is not the sales volume. As long as you have your own way to distinguish the quality of products, you can distinguish clearly where to buy them. If you are not satisfied, you can return it for no reason.

Another important consideration is the wallet. If the budget is sufficient and there is no pressure, some people may be under pressure to buy the most expensive, best density and comfortable fabric, more than 2000 yuan. If your prevention is only 1000 yuan, then you can only settle for the second best, or buy German fabrics, the comfort is slightly worse, and the effect is still guaranteed.

If the budget is only 600 yuan, then choose domestic all-polyester fabric, the density can be 30 microns. Allergy to dust mites is still very helpful

I got a cramp in my hand while typing. I hope it will help everyone.
