The identification method is as follows:

Take a look. The new tea leaves are light green, the old tea leaves are dark green, the leaf edges are serrated, there are 16 to 32 pairs of teeth, the tip of the leaves is concave, the tender stems are oblate, the back of the leaves has white fluff, the appearance is compact and thin, the tender tea leaves are ribbed, the color is yellow-green, clean and uniform, and the flowers are dry and yellow-white; Fake tea leaves, without the above obvious characteristics, are dry and stagnant in color. Judging from the water color, the color of the leaf bottom is neither as bright as black tea nor as green as green tea.

Second burn. Take some tea leaves and light them with fire. Real tea leaves are rich and fragrant. You can smell tea by crushing the ashes with your fingers. Fake tea leaves smell but have no tea fragrance. It is best to compare the genuine tea with the tea to be identified at the same time.

Three bubbles. Take a handful of tea leaves to be identified and a handful of real tea leaves, brew them with boiling water twice respectively, open the soup and look carefully. Each soaking 10 minute. After the leaves are fully soaked, put them into two white porcelain plates, and carefully observe the characteristics of leaf shape, vein and sawtooth. The real tea leaves have obvious reticular veins, the main veins are directed at the top, and the lateral veins extend to 2/3 of the leaf edge and then bend upward to form an arc with the upper branches. There are white hairs on the back of the leaves, the serrations on the leaf margin are obvious, and the serrations at the base are sparse. The veins of fake tea leaves are not obvious. Generally, the lateral veins point to the edge, some have white hairs on both sides, and the leaves have obvious serrations or coarse serrations.
