According to the notice issued by Xiuyu District Government, the agricultural land in Donghong Village, Dongzhuang Town, Xiuyu District was requisitioned by the government in September 2023. Xiuyu District (formerly Putian County, Xinghua District) is located in the middle of the southeast coast of Fujian, across the sea from Taiwan Province Province, China, and was established with the approval of the State Council in February 2002.
