It is illegal to leave your job in a hurry, and if losses are caused to the unit, you should pay compensation.

According to the Labor Contract Law, if you leave your job after the probation period expires, you need to notify the company in writing one month in advance. If you leave after the expiration, you don't need the approval of the employer.
