What if the hotel guest leaves without paying?

Legal analysis: First, you must make sure that the person on the ID card and the tenant are the same person before you can collect debts. This is the premise, otherwise the ID card is meaningless.

Second: the check-in registration form and the bill are the proof for you to recover your account (because the bill for evasion is definitely not signed), so it is particularly important for the guests to sign the registration form at this time. Information such as the house price/arrival/departure date/number of days should be stated in the accommodation form.

Third: take surveillance video, check-in and check-out monitoring, as proof that guests are in the store.

Fourth: prepare the above information, call the police and contact the debtor through the police.

Fifth, blacklist the guests and check the check-in records of guests who have evaded accounts in this hotel. The guest history files of guests who live together or have common tenants should be updated and included in the list of high-risk accounting customers.

Sixth: If the accounts cannot be recovered, the responsible person shall be fined in a certain proportion according to the compensation clause of financial bad debts.

Legal basis: Article 39 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests. Disputes between consumers and business operators on consumers' rights and interests can be resolved through the following channels:

(a) negotiated settlement with the operator;

(2) Requesting consumers' associations or other mediation organizations established according to law to mediate;

(three) to complain to the relevant administrative departments;

(four) according to the arbitration agreement reached with the operator, submit it to an arbitration institution for arbitration;

(5) bring a lawsuit to the people's court.
