Do I need to provide a hotel and a round-trip ticket to apply for a personal tourist visa to Korea?

When going through the formalities of personal tourist visa to South Korea, tourists no longer need to provide credit card bill details, real estate license, passbook and other property certificates, but only need to submit the application form (photo 1, visa fee is in 250 yuan), passport, ID card and photocopy of household registration book, guarantee letter and travel plan.

Traveling to South Korea with a Chinese mainland passport is visa-free except Jeju Island. To go to other cities in Korea, such as Seoul and Busan, you need to apply for a Korean visa in advance. You can stay in South Korea for 90 days with a Korean visa (visitors with Chinese mainland passports can apply for visa-free entry to Jeju Island in South Korea for 30 days, but they need a Korean visa to go to other parts of South Korea).

To apply for a Korean visa, you must first determine your own territory. China is divided into nine regions (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Xi 'an, Qingdao, Shenyang and Dalian) by jurisdiction. Applicants should, in principle, apply for a visa at their domicile. If their permanent residence is different from their household registration, and they can provide residence permit or temporary residence permit, they can also apply for a visa in the territory where their permanent residence is located.

You can also entrust a travel agency or certification body to apply for a visa. There is no need to provide hotel and round-trip air tickets.

Hotel and air ticket information is required when leaving the country.
