Whenever I am ready to go on holiday, I always like to pick out a lot of books and take them with me. Usually, I will eventually take away more books than I could have read on a trip. My philosophy is that I would rather have too much to read on the trip than too little.
Whenever I am ready to go on holiday, I always like to pick a lot of books and take them with me. I often bring more. My philosophy is that I would rather take more things on the trip than less. (The author is wandering: When I think of college, I will carry a bunch of books back every holiday, and the result will always be only a few days ago. Back to school, I felt it was a waste of time to carry it so far, and then I looked anxiously. )
If you are like me, you may start to think about what is on this summer's reading list-I can't highly recommend the following books.
If you are like me, you may start to think about what is on the reading list this summer. I highly recommend the following books.
They are not easy books that most people think. Except for one article, everything else is about subversion, but I don't mean "subversion" in the usual sense of technicians. I recently found myself attracted by books about drastic changes (this is even the title of one of them)-whether it is the Soviet Union after the Bolshevik Revolution, the United States during the war, or a global reassessment of our economic system.
This is not what most people think of as easy reading. I don't mean what technicians usually call "interruption", except for the concept of interruption. If you are looking for more typical summer books, I recommend Graham siemsen's? Rosie's results. ? And if you haven't read the first two books of the Rosie Trilogy, summer vacation is a great time to start! ) I can't help getting involved in Melinda's new book? The moment of lifting. I know I'm biased, but this is one of the best books I've read so far this year.
If you want to find a representative summer book, I recommend Graeme siemsen's Rossi Results. If you haven't read the first two books of Rossi's trilogy, then summer vacation is the best time! ) I can't resist the temptation of Melinda's new book "Ascension Time". I know I'm biased, but this is one of the best books I've read so far this year. I want to interject that Ascension Time is a new book by Melinda Gates, the wife of Bill Gates. Recently, Bill Gates kept recommending his wife's new book on social media. I'd like to recommend it here by the way. The first time you see or hear something, you may be indifferent, the second time you will feel familiar, and the third time you will basically arouse your curiosity. I'm going to read Ascension Time in the summer vacation. )
The following is my summer reading list:
Drastic change? By jared diamond. I am a big fan of all jared's works, and his latest works are no exception. This book explores the social response in times of crisis. He used a series of fascinating case studies to show how the country responded to existing challenges, such as civil war, foreign threats and general unrest. It sounds a bit frustrating, but when I finished reading this book, I was more optimistic about our ability to solve problems.

How about nine pints? By Ross George. If you are disgusted by blood, this may not be for you. But if you find it attractive like me, you will like this book. The author is a British journalist and has a special personal connection with this subject. I like books that go deep into a specific topic, so? Nine pints off? (The title refers to the blood volume of ordinary adults) Just to my taste. It is full of super interesting facts, which will give you a new understanding of blood. ?
Ross George hit nine bottles. If you hate blood, it may not be for you. However, if you find this book as attractive as I do, you will like that the author of this book is a British journalist, especially because the author has a special connection with this subject. I like books that delve into a specific topic very much, so Jiupintuo (topic refers to the blood volume of ordinary adults) is in my life. It is full of very interesting facts and will give you a new appreciation of blood. I am confused: I am dizzy, even if you talk nonsense, I won't watch it. )
A gentleman in Moscow? Author: Amor Toles. It seems that everyone I know has read this book. After my brother-in-law sent me a copy, I finally joined the club. I'm glad I did. Toles' novel tells the story of an earl who was sentenced to life-long house arrest in a Moscow hotel. It is interesting, clever and unexpectedly optimistic. Even if you don't like reading books about Russia like me (I have read every book of Dostoevsky), A gentleman in Moscow? It is a magical story that anyone can enjoy.

War president? Michael bay Schloss. My interest in all aspects of the Vietnam War is the main reason why I decided to pick up this book. When I finished it, I not only learned about Vietnam, but also learned about eight other major conflicts that the United States was involved in between 6 5438+09 century and 1970. Beschloss's broad scope allows you to draw important cross-disciplinary lessons about presidential leadership.
The president of the war, by? Michael bay Schloss. My personal interest in the Vietnam War is the main reason why I chose this book. When I finished reading this book, I not only learned a lot about Vietnam, but also learned about eight other major conflicts in the United States between 19 and the 1970s. Betsch Roth's broad vision allows you to learn important lessons from all aspects of the president's leadership.
The future of capitalism? Paul collier. Collier's new book gives a thought-provoking look at the topics that many people are most concerned about now. Although I don't agree with all his views-I think his analysis of problems is better than his proposed solutions-his background as a development economist gives him a wise view of the development direction of capitalism.
The Future of Capitalism by Paul Collier. Collier's new book is a thought-provoking book, which focuses on the topic that many people are most concerned about now. Although I don't agree with every point of his view, I think his analysis of the problem is better than his solution. His background as a development economist gives him a unique view on the trend of capitalism.
After reading the introduction of these five books, we can know that each one is not an easy pastime, and it is even more challenging for people like me who only like reading romance novels. If you can't finish reading five books, choose one or two. I want to see his wife's ascension (? Elevator time) and a gentleman in Moscow. So, what about you? Which one did you choose to read?
