Of course, from the operator's point of view, although it is not clear whether the standard room of a tourist hotel can accommodate three adults, it is not completely indifferent. Article 67 of the Regulations on Hygiene Management of Hotel Industry stipulates that the maximum number of people staying in a hotel or hotel room shall not exceed the number allowed in the room. Each room should calculate the registered user's name, number, contact number and other information separately, and then open the door lock after inspection and check the check-out list before leaving.

This means that hotels must consider factors such as safety and hygiene when specifying room types, and each room must be registered and inspected to ensure the availability and safety of each room. The standard room is designed for two people, but if three people actually live, it is obviously beyond the relevant room design, and the operator's potential risk responsibility for ensuring customer safety will be even greater. Therefore, even if a family of three can live in the same standard room, the hotel must abide by this rule, otherwise it will be fined or otherwise punished. Therefore, from the perspective of operating safety requirements and ensuring safety, it is not unreasonable for some hotels and hotel operators not to allow "three adults to live in standard rooms".

Of course, three adults are not allowed to live in a standard hotel room. Fundamentally speaking, the key lies in the dispute of "interests". That is to say, for hotel operators, standard hotel rooms (two rooms) are not allowed to accommodate more people, just to get the maximum economic benefits with the lowest economic and security costs; And customers struggle whether they can live for three people, in order to get the maximum accommodation convenience with the minimum economic cost.
