Lion Building is located at the head of the central cross street in the old city of yanggu county. According to "Jin Ping Mei" and "Water Margin", it was originally called "Lion Bridge Restaurant" and "Lion Street Bridge Restaurant", which was the place where Wu Song fought and killed Ximen Qing, and later called Lion Building. There is no test of the age of creation. Originally a two-story earth building, it was rebuilt in 1958 as a two-story brick-wood structure antique building with 5 upper and 5 lower floors, with a total height of 15.5 meters.

In p>1983, Chen Congzhou, a professor at Tongji University and a famous expert on ancient architecture, directed the design, and the ancient building team in Qufu, Shandong Province built the Lion Building again, which was fully completed in June 1984. The reconstructed Lion Building is a Song Dynasty-style building with five bays on the second floor and three depths, with a building area of 451 square meters and a height of 15.8 meters. The building sits west facing east, with blue bricks and gray tiles, cornices and arches, carved beams and painted buildings, which is magnificent. Mao Dun, a famous writer, wrote the "Lion Building" plaque in his own handwriting. There are 4 pairs of stone lions in the front of the building, including many murals of the story of Water Margin and 8 statues of water margin characters, which are lifelike and vivid. This building is famous for the story of the hero Wu Song fighting and killing Ximen Qing in Water Margin, and visitors come here in an endless stream every day.
