Route guidance:

Day 1

The first stop is the trestle. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the train station to the trestle. The trestle is free. Don't be tempted when you pass by the stalls selling small commodities and souvenirs on the pier. Touring the trestle takes about 20-30 minutes. Recommendation: 3

The second stop is Huiquan Bay. From Zhanqiao to Huiquan Bay, you can take bus No. 316, No. 304, No. 312, No. 202 (this saves energy). Recommendation: 4

The third stop: Badaguan. Close to Huiquan Bay, east of the bathing beach, you can walk into this area to visit. Badaguan is named after eight famous passes in Chinese history, such as Shanhaiguan Road, Juyongguan Road, Zhengyangguan Road, etc. Each road is planted with a kind of flower. In this area, there are various villa buildings from all over the world that have been preserved in various historical periods. It is an architectural museum. There are woods and grasslands in between, where you can bring your own food and take a rest. Estimated tour time: 45 minutes-1.5 hours. Recommendation: 4.

The fourth stop: May Fourth Square and Olympic Sailing Base. Take most buses from the Badaguan section of Hong Kong West Road to reach the city hall station. From the front of the city government to the seaside is May Fourth Square. The large steel sculpture "Wind of May" that looks like a torch in the square has become Qingdao's new city symbol after the trestle. From here, walk east along the coast for about 10 minutes to reach the Olympic Sailing Base, which will be the venue for the sailing events of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was just completed in July this year, and the first event here just ended on the 13th. If you are lucky, you may encounter another event. This tour is expected to take 0.5-1 hour. Recommendation: 5.

The fifth stop: Donghai Road Sculpture Garden. There is bus No. 317 at the stop on Donghai Road near May 4th Square or Olympic Sailing Base. Take bus No. 317 bound for Shilaoren and get off at Haian Road Station (about half an hour), and you will arrive at the Qingdao Sculpture Art Museum. Recommendation: 5

Highlights: No. 1 Bathing Beach ----- Huiquan Bay - No. 2 Beach (Badaguan) - No. 3 Beach (Taipingjiao) --May 4th Square----Shilaoren Park Beach

The eastern seaside of Qingdao City probably looks like this,

Let’s talk about it in several paragraphs: 1 From the city center (landmark building Sunshine Department Store and Carrefour) opposite the May Fourth Square is the seaside. Go west to the Haitian Hotel. This section of the seaside is mainly made of stones and there is no beach. Mainly along the roadside. This side is next to the city center and has a good environment. The disadvantage is that there is no beach.

2 There is a beach a little east of the sea and sky. There is a small reef there. I saw many people digging out a lot of conches, which is more fun. Then all the way to the first bathing beach, there are basically everything there. The beach starts from Hai Tian to Badaguan in the west, and then ends at the No. 1 Bathing Beach. I prefer hotels along the coast in this area.

3 Going west from the No. 1 Bathing Beach is the Zhanqiao. I don’t like this side of the Zhanqiao. It is next to the train station and there are many people and clutter. There are barbecues and night markets next to the Zhanqiao at night. But I still don’t recommend staying near the trestle.

4 I didn’t go much eastward from the city center, it’s probably not the main scenic spot. To the east, Old Man Shi is also a scenic spot. It is far from the city center and has a nice beach. I still like Badaguan the most.

Jie Wang’s BBQ on Zhongshan Road, Meidar Grilled Squid opposite Yidujin, and Haojia Beef Noodles next to Parkson are also quite good.

Laoshan

Line: Get up at 7:30 (if you can get up earlier, you will have more time to play), go to "Kende Chicken" for breakfast, which delays a little time - —Short of staff, fast food does not reflect speed.

It took some time to go to the train station to find the fare for Route 802. The interval between trains was long (I thought the stops would be half as few as 304, so the speed would be faster), so I finally returned to the hotel and took Route 304. The scenery along the way in the car was nice and fresh, and it didn't feel too long even after spending 2 hours.

Tour: Arrive at the pass at 11:00 (ticket to Laoshan is 70), go down to the seaside and you’ll find the Taiqing Palace, we didn’t go there. Instead, we walked along the seaside road in the direction of Yangkou (I later learned that it is 13 kilometers from Yakou to Yangkou, and it takes at least 3 hours to walk, and then I have to walk back to take the last bus at 17:00, which is too tiring.) . The weather today is much better than yesterday, with blue sky, white clouds and refreshing sea breeze. On one side of the road are the strange rocks of Mount Laoshan and on the other side is the blue sea. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenery of mountains, sea, clouds, sky, fishing villages and bays; you can take pictures while walking and playing. There are very few road signs here. It wasn’t until 14:00 that I saw a road sign: Huayan Temple - 500 meters. After walking for another 20 minutes, I still didn’t see Huayan Temple. I asked the eldest sister in the fishing village if there was a car coming out of the pass from Huayan Temple. The answer was: No. Due to limited time, we had to go back. On the way, I saw a car soliciting tourists for 10 yuan per person, so I got on the bus. Take bus 304 back at about 16:00, and get off at Bashui River and Liuqinghe Scenic Area (Ticket Office) respectively. The beach opposite Liuqinghe is very beautiful. Finally, take the last bus back.

Zhongshan Road Snacks

1. Meidal Zhongshan Road Store

Address: No. 49, Dexian Road, Shinan District (triangle of Zhongshan Road)

Comments :

Praise: Medal Zhongshan Road Store, this is a very famous barbecue restaurant in Qingdao Municipality. The barbecue here is Qingdao special, and the seafood barbecue here is especially famous. , the barbecue seasoning here can be said to be outstanding, and the service here is also very good. The boss has many acquaintances. Those who come are regular customers. There are also a lot of side dishes here, which taste very good, and the beer here is also very delicious. Seafood and beer are the favorites of Qingdao people. This is indeed a very good store.

Medium rating: I went there twice during the summer vacation, both times to eat barbecue, because the barbecue is the most delicious, and the others are average.

Praise: Sister Wang’s BBQ is a famous Qingdao delicacy and snacks. Anyone who has tried it will want to come back a second time. It's a pity that there are so many seafood items such as squid here. First of all, I would like to declare that I don't like seafood barbecue. My classmates said that I don't have a good taste, so I can only eat the "barbecue skewers", "banji" and "grilled pork belly" here. What's more, the taste is indeed very good. Be sure to get out of the car and buy more next time you pass by, and buy more to take home for dinner. hehe! !

Medium rating: This restaurant is on Zhongshan Road. I ate there several times when I was in school. I think it is quite affordable and tastes very good. My favorite is the grilled squid. The ingredients seem to be passed down from ancestors, and there is a fragrant feeling in your mouth. However, their house seems to be very busy, and there are always many people here every time.

Consumption: Thirteen yuan per capita

Comments:

Medium rating: It is a very unique restaurant. The snacks are very good and large. I admire it very much. The store is very hygienic and the service is good. The tables are clean and nicely decorated. You can eat comfortably for less than a few bucks.

Praise: I like their single bowl beef noodles the most. It tastes delicious. I order this every time I go there. The price is super cheap and the environment is good. It is relatively clean and comfortable. The service is very good, and in addition to beef noodles, they also have side dishes, which are also delicious

Pichaiyuan Snack Street

Address: Zhongshan Road and Jiangning Road, A small road opposite Zhongshan Road Domestic Products

Pichaiyuan Snacks: There are many classic snacks here. For example, barbecue, tofu puffs, pancakes, baby abalone, etc. In particular, Tofu Nao has a large family and is called every day. And once it’s sold out, it’s gone

The story of “Pichaiyuan”.

Pichaiyuan. Located on Jiangning Road in the old town of Qingdao, it was built one after another after 1902. It has 26 courtyards in total.

It is shaped like a "human", with Zhongshan Road connected to the east end, Beijing Road to the north, and Hebei Road to the west. There are more than twenty courtyards on the road. The entire street and several courtyards are areas where commerce, catering, and entertainment are concentrated. For example, the Old Dong'an Market in Beijing is a centralized place for shopping for Qingdao people.

As for the origin of the name Pichaiyuan, some people say that this place was originally a "Pichai Market" where everyone sold Pichai. Some people say that in addition to using the chopped firewood for citizens to burn fires and cook, they also supply the Dayaogou kiln for firing bricks and tiles, etc. That is to say, Pichaiyuan got its name from the many temporary commercial "Pichai houses" built inside. These "wood-chopping houses" are well-known to some old Qingdao people. Most of them are broken-down houses built randomly, low and damp.

In the past, the main street of Jiangning Road was mostly filled with pubs and restaurants, mostly inconspicuous small restaurants, candy shops, bookstores and amusement parks. North Street sells cooked meats, such as Texas Braised Chicken, Fushan Roast Chicken, Southern Tripe, Sauce Liver, etc. In terms of snacks, the pot cakes, steamed buns, wontons and tofu puffs here are the most famous and popular. When citizens come to visit Pichaiyuan, they buy and eat at the same time, and eat while shopping.

There are also restaurants on both sides of the street other than the main street of Jiangning Road, including Yuanhuitang, Lijia Dumpling House, Zengsheng House, Tianxing House, Xiejufu, and Yimeizhai, among which Yuanhuitang is the largest and most famous. In addition to the two-story building on the street, there are several single rooms upstairs in the backyard. Shandong cuisine is divided into Jinan cuisine and Jiaodong cuisine. Yuanhuitang is a famous restaurant of Jinan cuisine. The western section of Jiangning Road mainly sells candies and roasted goods such as peanuts, melon seeds, and chestnuts. Most of them are front shops and back factories, retailing and wholesale. The section from the main street to Beijing Road is mainly a tavern, with cooked meat stalls in front of the door. Pork head meat, sauced liver, sauced beef, etc., some are also in the front shop and backcourt, taverns, mainly selling bulk wine. There is a big vat in the shop with a red paper saying "Restaurant". Customers can buy wine with 2 taels or 4 taels. Two "wine grapes" were proposed. Only dried tofu, peanuts, wine and food are provided. If you need meat, you need to buy it from the cooked meat stall outside the door

Positive review: OK ~ panoramic view of the entire Qingdao

Bad review: The 15 yuan ticket is too expensive. Although it is the highest point in Qingdao, the panoramic view of Qingdao does not cost 15 yuan. Just a hilltop.
