(1) According to bilateral agreements, citizens of some countries who come to China with corresponding passports are exempted from visas, but their stay in China shall not exceed 30 days from the date of entry. (2) Citizens who come to Chinese mainland with ordinary passports for tourism, business, visiting relatives and friends or transit for less than 15 days may enter the country visa-free from ports open to foreigners: Singapore, Brunei and Japan. However, people in the following countries need to obtain visas in advance: (1) people who hold ordinary passports but expect to stay in China for more than 15 days; (2) Holding an ordinary passport to study, work, settle down and interview in China; (3) holders of diplomatic and official passports.
(3) Since June 5438+065438+ 10 15, 2000, foreigners who travel to Hong Kong and Macao with ordinary passports of countries with diplomatic relations with China have passed through Hong Kong and Macao (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, Guangdong, China).
(4) Foreigners who hold a joint ticket and have reserved a joint seat, take an international flight and transit directly from China, and stay in the transit city for no more than 24 hours and do not leave the airport may be exempted from visas.
(5) Citizens of the following 20 countries, regardless of their passports, are exempt from visas when crossing SNH48 for several hours: South Korea, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other Schengen countries such as Germany, France, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy.
(6) Citizens registered in Hainan with the approval of the National Tourism Administration who hold ordinary passports of the following countries and stay in Hainan Province for no more than 15 days may travel to Hainan Province without a visa: Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Germany, Britain, France, Austria, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands.
(7) Except the above, all other foreigners entering Chinese mainland must obtain visas in advance.
